Good experience and memories at Ibis Hotel

Delicious breakfast. 😋 According to the price, it's a good hotel. The rooms are a little small but enough. Receptions are very friendly people. We stayed there for 3 nights. It is far from the city center and Eiffel, but if you have a car, it is not a problem.

Stayed for a couple of nights on my way back to the ferry. The staff were very helpful, particularly helping me to work out how to get into Paris by public transport. It is only 10 minutes by bus to the Pont de Sevres where you can catch the Metro.. There is a basic restaurant attached for pizza and similar and a bar. Breakfast was well presented and a wide selection of a continental breakfast. The room was clean, fresh and comfortable. A perfect place to stay for a trip to Paris without the expense of a city hotel.

Our shower was blocked and not repaired during the 3 days we stayed. Breakfast on Sunday was a mess. Food ran out around 9:00am. One person on duty and he couldn’t keep up. Croissants that finally appeared were uncooked inside. Hotel was clean and staff were courteous. Bus stop close to hotel was a bonus. Bus trip coming back to hotel from Port de Sevres requires a bus change although no changes required going to Port.

short stay for business

This hotel is situated some kilometres away from the Paris city centre. It takes a ride with bus and metro to arrive in the centre. Connections are frequent. The hotel is alongside a busy road, but...... you will have a quiet room. There's also a parking place for your vehicle. I stayed for one night during the covid period. So it was very calm. (at breakfast, we were alone) Everything was very clean, and full breakfast was packed in folium, to keep clean, and avoid infection. It was well done, and we had croissants, meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit... Not exuberant, but certainly well enough. So, if you have to be in the neighbourhood, don't hesitate, it's quiet fine. If you have the intention to visit the city centre... maybe you should look for a hotel a bit closer tot the city.

Today 28th Decemeber 2017, I saw the replies from this hotel in booking.com. In order to let their future clients know better this hotel, now I would make my comments more clear in here via tripadvisor.com: Points negatives : - the mattress in room 007 was really poor (after 2 nights-stay, my back's really hurt as I am a just 36 years old woman. That mattress made me feel I am 63 indeed.) - the mattress was too small for me (5'10" tall), my feet were out of the bed - the pillow was too big for me - no fresh orange juice for the buffet breakfast - its outdoor parking need to pay 5€ per night but didn't mention anywhere in its booking.com (p.s: during the check-in, the reception asked us if we want outdoor or indoor parking. But she didn't mention there are 2 types outdoor parking: one is 5 euro per night. the other one is free. so how the hotel supposed we knew there is a free outdoor parking?! Opps, yes...surely until we got the bill, nice! ) - now I add one more comment about this hotel according their replies in the booking.com. on 11th December 2017. It seems that they are trying to say I am making a story here. So I hope their potential clients, if you take my advise, thanks and that is for your own good. However I will not gain 1 penny in here if you go and stay in this hotel or not. So I am telling the truth. point postive: - location (we meant to pick this hotel as we had quite a lot of appointments in that area..if not, better avoid it)

Dear customer, as we mentioned in our reply on booking.com our beds "sweet beds by Ibis" are 6.6ft long and 5.2ft for the Width. They are composed from three parts : the slat base, the mattress and a topper which guarantee a very good comfort. Those elements are real and measurable : future clients can have a look and check in one of our room, even the 007! We propose a free outside parking which is in the street in front of the hotel or accessible from the street and two secured ones with gates that can be opened by reception on your request. To get to private parking you have to go threw the free one so you can't miss it ! We invite potential clients to check other reviews concerning our bedding, a lot of customer love it !
