Absolutely perfect and would be happy to recommend this hotel. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The location is great, right opposite the metro station and less than 10 minutes walk from Gare de Lyon (which goes to Disneyland). The breakfast was very nice, and there was the option to take some fruit for the day. All the staff we met were incredibly friendly, noticeably so. And it was great value too. In fact it was £100 cheaper than the Novotel that was near to Gare de Lyon.

We stayed at Novotel Bercy whilst going to a concert at Accor Arena. The location was perfect – right next door to Accor Arena and adjacent to metro lines 6 and 14. Staff were excellent – really helpful and friendly. Some work was being done in the road which led to the water supply being cut-off; to solve this problem, the staff gave us bottled water to drink, looked into us borrowing a room in a nearby Ibis to have a shower and gave us a free drink each to compensate for the bother. Our room was a decent size and very comfortable, as was the bed. Breakfast was also excellent with a large choice of quality food and again very helpful staff. The Novotel was more expensive than the Ibis Styles next door where we stayed last time so we are spoilt for choice of Accor Hotels here and would be happy to return to either; However, we think that the Novotel is worth the extra expense. Do get the loyalty card (carte de fidelite) which is free and gives useful bonuses; if you do not want to use the points gained on your card, they can be given to charity.

Excellent Hotel - Excellent location

We needed three rooms to accommodate our family. These were conveniently placed next to each other. Our rooms looked out on to the concert arena and we thought it might be noisy and disturb our sleep, but once the windows were shut it was only the bass noise that got through. AC did not appear to work in our room. It was strange having the toilet separate from the bathroom, and with no sink in the toilet, meaning you had to go to bathroom to wash hands. The fridge and safe were a welcome addition to the room. There was no tea or coffee in our room - but we pinched it from the kids rooms. However the hotel is let down by the restaurant . As it was torrential rain the first night, we decided to eat in the hotel. They agreed we could have the main menu for the adults and the room menu (ie pizza) for the children. The service was very poor. Everything we ordered for my grandson was wrong. No apple juice arrived we had to ask again. The topping on his pizza was wrong - despite us saying it in French and English. And finally I had to ask THREE times for chocolate ice-cream for him (again in French and English) The child at the next table ordered it way after us and got it almost immediately! The swipe of the credit card was put on to the wrong room, so when we tried to pay the bill using our room number, this was not possible. It was only when we enquired at reception, that the error was realised. Finally - breakfast. Just turn up in the morning we were advised by reception on arrival. So we did - only to be told they had no record of us wanting breakfast. Turns out you do just turn up - at reception to order breakfast and then you are permitted to enter the breakfast room. Were not overly impressed - the pancakes they were calling crepes were cold. The hot food selection was not overly hot, and not overly tasty. My son had D&V later that day, and the only food he had had differently to everyone else was the scrambled egg at breakfast. I thought it smelled funny so did not have any. You can however cook your own eggs - fried or boiled if you so choose. We chose not to have breakfast at the hotel the next morning - choosing instead to eat in the nearby station. I would recommend the hotel - great location, and nice hotel. Would not however recommend the restaurant for any meals. Plenty of other eating places nearby. A nice touch that the kids loved was the "no-touch" hand sanitiser at the entrance.

A friendly welcome. A clean room, although small. It’s odd having no basin next to the toilet and in a separate section of the room. Towels and bedding were changed as requested during our four night stay. The air conditioning was poor/broken and it was difficult to have the window open at night due to the extreme noise coming from people outside queuing in the early hours to attend a club (I assume). I wouldn’t return or recommend and would suggest spending more on a central hotel if visiting Paris.

First of all, I must say that it is a good city hotel. There is a metro station right in front of it, which makes your travel very easy. I can say that the breakfast is average. The rooms are quite small. The toilet and hand wash basin are in separate places in the rooms, that is, you go out of the toilet door and wash your hands in the bathroom separated by a separate door, it is not hygienic at all. On our second day at the hotel, we experienced a surprising event at breakfast. We had brought our small backpacks because we were going to start touring the city after breakfast. These bags were not suitcase-shaped, but the kind that you can carry on your back while walking around the city and put small personal items in. While we were getting our breakfast, a woman on duty came and said that we could not enter the breakfast room with these bags. I thought it was a rule and took the bags back to the room without objecting. I thought it would take 5 minutes at most to get the bags from the room after breakfast. However, when we started our breakfast, I noticed that many people were sitting in the breakfast room with backpacks, even large backpacks.Bununla birlikte kimse onları yasak konusunda uyarmadı. Frankly, in the following days, it became clear that this one woman on duty did not show the same attitude towards everyone.I wonder if any possible discrimination is allowed in this hotel.
