Regular guest in your hotel. Understand that corona requires different handling. But check-in was difficult, person barely spoke English / German. No (instant) coffee available. Shower cold in the morning on first day, has been fixed second days. Room was not made up again next day, no shower gel. Parking machine did not accept Amex so I had to go up again. Service desk agent at first day did not allow to book on room, he asked me to pay on the machine. Worked only next day. So overall this was really poor experience, not comparable to previous times.

As usual nice people at the reception, at the restaurant, and with the breakfast service In the room. Only thing I believe is that the room service for breakfast cannot work well on the long term. If there is more than person is not working and is not nice at the end the breakfast like this. If I can suggest, I would go back to buffet but having someone on your side being the only one authorized to touch the food and prepare for guests on their demand. I saw that for example in Italy

If you dont need to stay in down town of Zurich - this hotel is a good alternative choice. The tram line 10 brings you directly in to the heart of Zurich and line 12 to the Glatt Shopping Center - everything under one roof.... To me there is only one small point to mention....it looks like it is a crew hotel and the breakfast room is full of them - the arriving ones and the departing ones...most of them in their pyamas and flip flops straight from the bed - which looks a bit od to the other guests...but the hotel crew seems to know them all and accept them ...

The hotel is located 10mins away from the airport by the airport express bus TXL. There's table football at the play area at lobby which our kids can't get enough fun of. Rooms are clean and in tip top condition and staff are polite. Good memories before we leave Berlin.

Warm welcome from friendly, helpful professional staff. Lovely varied buffet breakfast Clean bedroom and bathroom. The sauna was a nice feature, there was also a gym. Hotel suited us as on tram route from the airport, stop just outside hotel, and then took us to the railway station in the city. The Zurich card made it easy to explore.

Located about 2km from the Zurich Airport, this hotel is a good option for those who want to visit Zurich as public transportation into the city and towards the airport is right in front of the premises. Breakast is very good and the wi-fi, always important, works well. There is free transportation from the airport to the hotel and a CHF 4 per person charge from the hotel to the airport. Nothing special about the room which is confortable but a bit small. Overall, as already mentioned, it's a good option for staying near Zurich and the airport.

位置很方便,周边购物吃饭都有不少选择,适合转机。布置简单但是温馨。前台服务非常好。唯一去机场巴士收费,有点小缺憾。

This was the most disappointing Novotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Dirty carpets, two paper cups and one English teabag per double room. No tv remote in room. Broken kettle then replaced by one that base was a different brand to kettle so therefore didn’t work. Then a kettle simply taken from a nearby room by housekeeping staff, merely moving the problem to the next guest, was told slightly broken and to just hold down the button for the entire time it took to boil. Asked for 91€ and told credit card declined on something that was prepaid months ago even though receipt provided and bank statement shown. Two female front desk staff incredibly helpful but other male staff distinctly unhelpful. Housekeeping staff and all management staff need to be retrained by Novotel Basel as they are the benchmark for Novotel’s everywhere.

Understaffed. Room needed bath plug and TV control. Hall carpets, filthy. Room OK. Breakfast Good. Peculiarly set so that taxis must stop at an upper level, reached by stairs or an extremely steep ramp. Seems to cater for airline crew and groups of business oriented people. I bet they paid a lot less than I did.

oriented on people travelling but not customers. Hotel modern and comfortable. nice restaurant (dinning room outside). Good service. I have had to pay the shuttle for the return to the airport (10mn travelling).

The hotel is a bit old, nice neighborhood, need refreshment And a goooood cleaning. The rooms were ok , the breakfast Was a bit disappointed compared to other Novotel’s breakfast we had before. It is the less good Novotel experience we had.

Check in staff poor. On check in asked to wait 20 minutes in lobby as room not ready and told we would be informed and given key cards when ready. Staff mrmber forgot and was playing on computer in back office and joking with colleague. After 40 minutes went back to desk and explained, and grumpy staff ,mrmber asked if I had completed all tye formaliqties to which I responed that I did not know but had signed a form and givren my trlephone number. How do I know what there procefures are? I would have expected him to check withvtye person who originally checked us in. He thrn virtually tyrew tye key card to mw without telling me the room number or any of the information (e.g.wi-fi code info etc.) . He reluctantly gave me a second key card when I asked. On check out, got a surly female staff member who could not be bothered asking if we had a good stay or that everything had been ok. Seems to me this hoyrl has gone downhill alot since we last stayed. Rooms / corridoors are in poor condition, and our sink leaked on tye floor in tye room when we used it. Think tyey are now only interested in tye coach parties.

Not clean anymore

I have been staying at this hotel annually for over 20 years. It just is not the same hotel. And the main problem is that there are cleanliness issues that I never experienced in the past. I stayed at this Novotel 2 separate stays this summer. The first time our carpet was pretty dirty and there was what looked like dried blood on the carpet. This last time the bathroom had a strong urine odor. I’m retrospect I should have asked for a different room but instead got some antibacterial wipes at the local grocery store and wiped off the fixtures and floor. It didn’t help so the odor must be embedded in something. Also there was a blood spot on the pillow case - I just used the second pillow but the linens should be clean in any hotel especially a 4 star. Also the shower was weird and the tub was missing a stopper. And the hall carpets were very dirty. This hotel needs a redo and a deep cleaning in the meantime. It is conveniently to airport and a good tram system.

去年我7月我曾入住了这家酒店,除了酒店设施陈旧之外其余的我觉得体验很好。然而今年我再次选择了入住这里,从前台Check in开始我就感受到员工并不太友好。我总共预订了5间带沙发的高级间,作为雅高会员的我房间甚至被前台员工降级了(我入住的那间是双床房且没有沙发),我们马上去前台反馈这个问题,也专门更换了一个前台员工帮我们处理,然而新更换的房间基本上毛巾和卫生间香皂都是使用过的,房间一股披萨的味道,到此我和我太太就真的有些生气了,再次到前台反映这个情况,这次前台的员工态度很好,立马表达了歉意并且帮我们升级到了行政楼层,这一点符合4星级酒店的处理方式;但第二天早上问题又出现了,吃早餐的时候我们总共只有3间房登记了含早(如果我和我太太不是被升级了行政楼层我们的房间也是不含早的),另外就是和我们说明房间不含早的酒店员工态度是非常差的!这一点就让我非常气愤了!!!是的,我是在雅高年中大促的时候预订的房间,也许房价是含折扣的,但这个是雅高官方的活动,可我预订的每间房都是含早的,最后酒店员工再找回预订记录也确认我们全部房间都是含早的,难道第一次check in时的那个前台员工因为我们用折扣价预订就随便取消了我们的早餐么!???这是什么道理???甚至我最后Check out时表达对这次入住的失望时该员工还一脸不屑的似乎是我在无理取闹,我只想说,我对这间酒店非常失望,我对雅高非常失望!以后我会慎重选择雅高集团的酒店。

多年前入住過很多次,入住此酒店的三天前(6/30)才入住Bern 的Novotel,兩家酒店相較起來,Zurich Airport 的Novotel有很多需要改進的部分。 1. 設備老舊,房間樓層走廊的地毯髒,木紋飾版的漆全部斑駁掉漆,看起來像2星級酒店 2. 沙發床的床墊老舊,睡在上面像直接睡在鐵條上 3. Check in 人員並未注意到我站在前面等候,專心的在看著電腦,可能是我打擾到她在看電腦,不太客氣,口氣很不好。相較於Bern Novotel的櫃台人員,熱心的幫我請飯店技師處理行李箱問題,並將我們升等到較大的客房,這位櫃台人員需要更加強她的笑容及服務熱誠 4. Bern Novotel提供兩天免費的市區transportation車票給住客,但是Zurich的Novotel並沒有提供免費市區車票 5. 早餐時有超過一半的印度住客,很多都直接用手從餐檯拿食物,很不衛生

Room for improvemnets

The hotel is in some proximity of the airport which leads to a very busy reception. I did online check in hoping to get my room quicker, but had to qeue with other for 10min as even the priority check in was occupied with non priority matters. The parking was the most expensivest ever for a hotel outside the city. I paid 30 CHF or 20% of the room cost. This becomes more and more a common but undesired practice to make the room "cheap looking". Hotels should be forced by law to uncover the extra cost like breakfast & parking. Speaking about breakfast - this was below average for this hotel class. I missed the fruits. ... and by the way... as a Platinum member I got a welcome drink and and a room upgrade. The room was finally the same as any other room in the hotel, the b ar was closed and the minibar had a single beer inside - I know what Hilton Honors does for their platinum Members - Accor is simply not competetive in this way.

There were several small things that added up to our stay being only average. Bathroom not clean and water leaking were the two main things. I was disappointed as my previous stays in Accor Hotels have been excellent.

If you are in need of a hotel close to the ZRH Airport with clean rooms and a helpful staff...this is it. Be advised the shuttle from the airport to the hotel is free of charge, but if you are flying out, the service is 4 Euros per person, and must be reserved the night before. Why? Early departures fill the van space up. There is a tram that stops right outside this location to take you into the actual city. Food choices are limited ... great food court at the airport. Raphael at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and assisted us with our check-in.

If you don't want to worry about rushing and complicated travelling to the airport to catch your flight, this hotel is ideal. It is only a 10 minutes tram ride to the airport. It is also easy to get to downtown Zurich using the tram as well. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is reasonably good.
