Heel net hotel met een uitgebreide keuze bij het ontbijt. We sliepen met onze tieners op een familiekamer. Kamer niet ruim, maar prima. Badkamer heel netjes. Schoon. Op het dak zit een klein zwembad en poolbar waar je ook het een en ander kunt eten. Uitzicht op de Acropolis. Beneden een winkel met leuke souvenirs, prima prijzen. Kleine gym, ook altijd leuk. Het hotel ligt in een iets minder goede buurt van Athene, maar maak je niet druk. Iedere wereldstad heeft daklozen, niet overdrijven. Paar minuten lopen en je hebt keuze uit tientallen restaurants. Je kunt veel te voet doen vanwege de centrale ligging.

Wij hebben al in een aantal hotels van Novotel overnacht, maar deze viel echt tegen. Gedateerd, slechte slaapbank, slechte buurt, slechte douche, alleen de handdouche konden we gebruiken.

Wij kwamen laat aan, dus logisch dat er minder personeel is. Maar hoe verzint de receptionist on duty het om, terwijl hij ons al gezien heeft, weg te lopen om te gaan roken? En als wij hem erop aanspreken, te zeggen dat we maar moeten wachten? Uiteindelijk heeft iemand anders ons ingecheckt, maar dit hotel heeft bij voorbaat al een negatieve indruk achterlaten. Wij komen hier dan ook zeker niet meer terug, met dank aan de receptionist die zijn werk duidelijk niet leuk vindt. Locatie was goed, simpel maar prima ontbijt en top uitzicht vanaf de rooftop. Parkeren is ook goed geregeld. Kamers waren wel vrij simpel, en bedden mogen wel eens vervangen worden. Eén kant was te ver ingezakt en dus oncomfortabel. Ook de douche is gedateerd en te weinig waterdruk om als vrouw met lang haar je haar fatsoenlijk te kunnen wassen.

een goed hotel, maar mag wel een kamer verbetering krijgen. vloerbedekking met rare vlekken, lamp in badkamer die een kapotte kap heeft en meest storend de deuren naar het balkon die niet helemaal sluiten waardoor je geluid van de straat hoort, zelfs op 5 hoog

Kamer klein, airco dusdanig veel geluid en rare geur waardoor deze niet bruikbaar was eigenlijk. De slaapbank niet geschikt als bed en achteraf gezien waarschijnlijk bedwantsen geweest want ons kind had overal rode vlekken. Ontbijt teleurstellend, je verwacht in een griekse stad betere ingrediënten. Kaas, tomaten niet lekker, olijven uit blik. Niet 4v ster waardig helaas en zeker geen Novotel. Personeel aardig maar gebouw is niet volgens Novotel standaard. Enige echte pluspunt vond ik de gratis parkeergelegenheid onder het hotel.

Buurt was ongezellig en ver buiten het centrum, daar kan het hotel niks aan doen. Ontbijt en rooftop restaurant waren prima, maar in de badkamer vond ik haren. Bij het uitchecken werd me niet naar mijn ervaring gevraagd, en vanwege haast ben ik dan ook vertrokken. Dus voornamelijk prima, maar het kan beter, met name even vragen hoe het was is aan te raden.

Op zich prima hotel, helaas 2 keer van kamer moeten wisselen omdat de wifi niet werkte. Ook de buurt waarin het ligt is slecht. Mijn vrouw zou hier in de avond niet alleen doorheen willen lopen.

Prima hotel in de binnenstad. De buurt, of eigenlijk heel de binnenstad van Athene was wel even wennen. Het is zeker niet de schoonste en frisse stad om te verblijven.
