The hotel is located on walking distance from the historical center of Bourges. A typical Ibis hotel: basic, but clean and convenient. Breakfast was ok. You can also have dinner in the hotel. Also here, food was average but adequate. So if you just want a place to sleep, and nothing more, no reason not to go to this hotel.

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 5 years and I will continue to go when traveling through Bourges. It is perfect for a one-night stay. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. I have always found a space in the car park just outside. Overall, the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is pretty good with a large variety of teas, fruits, breads, etc.. The hotel is located near the city center and a short walk to the palais de Jacques Coeur. Lots of bars and restaurants only 10-15 min walk away. The only thing I don’t recommend is the hotel restaurant.

Standard IBIS, clean and functional. Good selection for breakfast. Well located, 20mins walk from the station and 10mins to the main bit of town. All in for the price per night, good enough and would probably return if I was working in the area.

Great Central Location but Toilets need attention

We stopped here twice in October 2021. The satnav tried to take us down one way streets but we managed to find it! Great central location - you can stroll into the old town following the hotel map and guiding yourself. A very pleasant visit. On the first visit we rejected one room because there was an unpleasant smell from the bathroom but the replacement room was fine. We booked twin beds but I agree with a previous review about them being a double bed in all but name! On both visits breakfast was great. On our second visit we had an evening meal because few restaurants were open on a Sunday night in late October but it wasn't very memorable and the price for a mediocre glass of wine was expensive. On our second visit we also had the same problem with smells from the bathroom and a toilet that did not flush very well. On checkout we met someone else who had the same problem. I hope that they have fixed it now. Parking was no problem in October but I can imagine that it would be difficult in the season. We lunched at La Mere Poule in Bourges which we really liked. Overall - a mixed bag - some good and some not so good.

This hotel is not set up for twin beds - although it sells twin room stays. The beds had no space between them at all (literally none - it was basically a double bed with two mattresses) with one being up against the wall. This meant one person would have to climb over the other to get out of bed. The member of staff who came to look pushed one bed one way - this meant the lamp actually sat on the mattress near the pillow - and pushed the other mattress the other way - this meant that bed was actually sitting on top of the bedside cabinet which was not moveable. This then gave us about 2 inches between the beds.
