The hotel location is excellent, it is 5 mins walk to Westbahnhof railway station which you van take the tarin to any other country and take Metro and tram , also 5 mins to Mariahilfer Strasse which is the best are for stay where you can do shopping and eat , the hotel is cozy with small rooms but clean, the room view is incredible , the staff is very helpful they helped us to change the room and for attractions suggestions and directions . only negative is : pillows are not comfortable & there is no facility in the hotel or kettle in the room .

We were looking for a budget base for our 5 night sightseeing trip to Vienna. Booked as part of a last-minute package deal (hotel and flight) through jet 2 and the hotel was good value for the price we paid. We were on the top floor end room. No noise from street or other guests but wind was howling on a couple of occasions. We could see for miles from our window. Room was a good size for the three of us and cleaned for arrival. No room cleaning during the stay (could request it at extra charge I think), which was fine for us..... but would have been nice to have had toilet roll topped up rather than having to collect from reception when needed. Furnishing was basic but in good condition and provided a good amount of storage. Room was quite warm and though we could get heat we couldn't get cooling. Didn't try the hotel breakfast, plenty of other options close by so we tended to eat in a bakery or get a pastry from a local supermarket and eat on the go or headed to a coffee house in the centre. Location was excellent for transport around city and to/from airport. We were able to use a safety deposit box behind reception for our valuables, and there was a room where we could leave our bags after checkout. All in all a basic budget hotel that provided everything we needed in a good location.

We've just returned from a 4 day trip to Vienna staying at the Ibis Mariahilfer. The hotel is on the edge of the city center but located a 3 minute walk from the Westbanhof underground station & the city's main shopping street & the Blue Hop on & Off bus stops right outside the hotel. The rooms are a little tired & in need of some TLC but ours was clean and comfortable. The restaurant has a limited menu but the food is lovely and the staff excellent. Particular thanks to Mario who made us feel at home. The reception staff were extremely helpful, booking our trips and advising us on transport links, they also booked our return taxi to the airport which was cheaper than I could find it. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I had an opportunity to stay at Ibis Wien Mariahilf. The location is good. Walking distance to metro, train station restaurants, easy access to the airport by taxi . Upt to 40 euros. We arrived early and they provided early check in without extar charge. We had room with nice cathedral view. The breakfast was good. The rooms are normal and warm. For budget stay it is good hotel . There was issue with the sink, we informed them and left the hotel when back the hotel it was solved. The hotel staff were very friendly

Booked a long weekend here via jet2. On arrival rooms weren’t available so left luggage and went out. Staff at check in weren’t overly welcome. No customer service given at all. Barely even spoke to us. Great location at bus stop 4 on the hop on hop off blue route. A short walk to Mariahilf street. Breakfast is an additional 18€ and not worth the money. Couple of hot items, pancakes, salad, etc. The rooms are basic basic basic. Bed, tv, bathroom. Nothing else. The beds are a base, mattress and then a topper which is covered in sheet. Very unusual and quite firm. The noise is the biggest issue. We only had one room next to ours, but you can hear everything. Conversations, people in corridors, people above you. The restaurant in the building is nothing to do with the hotel. We went to get drinks one night to take back to room and told we couldn’t. The hotel is clean, but I can’t say much more positive than that. Not worth the price, not value for money.
