Picked this hotel for its location and wasn’t disappointed. Big car park (free) and out of town so felt safe and hassle free parking after a long drive. Normal ibis rooms, clean and functional. No hairdryer in bathroom like the old days though. Nice walk into Chalon about 30 minutes, we have two dogs so great for them too! Bar could be better. Staff didn’t really know what we could have as our free drinks on the Accor app/ member.

Over night stay. Nice friendly staff. Room was very small but clean. Was given a walk in shower as I asked for. Nice large window to open for cooling down. Good air conditioning & heating system in place. Very quiet for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was continental. Plenty of everything. This hotel seems to be completely run by one very pleasant young man Alassane. It was very busy with two coaches in cars & vans. But Alassane provided everything we all asked for with a smile & very nice manners. I don’t know how he did it all. But I take my hat off to him. Maybe is boss should ask if he could do with some help. Thank you for a quick stop over.

Paid an extra 600 euros to stay here.

Hit a pothole at the entrance to the hotel. Spent 600 euros for 2 tyres and an extra nights stay at the hotel. The hotel passed on responsibility for the pothole repair to the Town Hall. Even charged me more for my second nights stay than my first. I had to initiate a complaint to the hotel to action a refund. They offered me no support whatsoever during my stay and only emailed me to say that my claim had been passed on to the Town Hall. I was given no reference number or contact information. Totally unacceptable customer service.

This hotel is very good for access to the motorways and mainly used by businessmen. It is also on a business park and a bit tricky to find once you are in the business park. Its rooms are very small for two people and need a refurb. However the staff were super helpful and we got something to eat late on in the evening in the restaurant/cafe, but there is a rather limited choice.
