The public areas are pleasant and the staff friendly but the rooms are small, tired and tatty. The WiFi was poor. Quite the most down at heel Ibis we’ve visited.

We are traveling to a few countries and stayed at Ibis Budget at all of them. All corrected accordingly to the price but this one needs an update urgently! The room is totally old fashion, popcorn ceiling, mold in the bathroom and the ac didn’t work properly. Besides that, good size room, great bed and fairly clean. For the rate, it’s a no!

Booked ‘classic’ room online and checked in online. Met at desk with lethargic staff. Room door unlocked and room untidy not ready. Back to desk, they assigned a disabled room for us, toilet foul and blocked, TV remote missing. Back to desk, assigned a room with two single beds with ill fitting mattresses and bathroom not closing. We had to settle for this. Staff no longer interested to apologise or help. No staff at the bar! Parking good, location good. Poor and tired hotel, best to travel a little further to find somewhere better.

Waited at reception to book in , other people waiting. Receptionist, we she did arrive seemed disinterested. We waited the next morning to book out, same problem ! Not great !

I stayed there on route to Barcelona , I had driven 650 miles . When we arrived at 5 I was told the restaurant was closed . I was starving . Had to go Burger King. I then went to the toilet only I was unable to close the door due to the door being swollen . I then thought I would have a bath but there no taps on bath instead they were attached to the side of the sink . I also had to go reception 4 time s to get my card reset . Then at night the supermarket car park next door became a place for cars to do wheel spins and donuts . Left at 4 in morning and will never stay again
