No facial tissues available at all; no hand towels at all. Buffet Breakfast was included with our room, however on the Sunday, there were no utensils available, no food on the counters, … We had to go out for breakfast. And when I asked that the cost be deducted from my bill, the hotel refused. And I won’t even talk about the lack of service at the bar. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is its location. Will never stay here again!

We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered. Regarding the absence of facial tissues and hand towels, these items are unfortunately not part of the Ibis brand standards, which provide one large bath towel per person. However, guests are always welcome to request additional bath towels at any time free of charge from the reception. As for the breakfast, which is generally well-appreciated by our guests, it is served as a buffet until 10:30 AM. For those who prefer to sleep in, a lighter option is available at the bar after this time. We sincerely regret that you were unable to fully enjoy this service. I was always told if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all, so here’s something nice. It’s in a great location. Everything else, not so much. Most of the staff was rude or indifferent, and no, I’m not just saying that because it’s France. We had one good encounter with the staff. The room was hot as they limit A/C to 24 degrees. The A/C leaked on the floor day and night. I had to ask for extra towels to wipe it up. The bed was so crummy it hurt my back to the point I could barely walk. It was literally a 4 inch foam mattress from IKEA. Yes I understand it’s an Ibis so I wasn’t expecting the Ritz, but for the prices they were charging, I expected better than that. There is also no safe in the room for your valuables. I have Accor Status and as a part of that I get a welcome drink. Most places offer something decent for guests with status and one other adult member of their party. Nope, not here. You can have a coke, juice, bottle of water or a crummy beer and only for one person. Long story short, don’t let the three stars fool you. Subtract at least one, maybe one and a half. I’ve stayed at hostels that were more welcoming and the only real difference between this hotel and those hostels was that we had a private bathroom. If all that matters to you is a good location, give this place a look. If anything else matters, find somewhere else.

Very nice location. Staff friendly and kind. By the river and very close to downtown. 500 meters from Annecy train station. Easily reach hotel by walking. Twı types of breakfast available buffet and express breakfast. Rooms are comfortable.

This isn't your standard Ibis and is hard to fault on most levels. We wanted a balcony and the comfort rooms here have just that, a small but perfectly usable outside balcony overlooking the waterway. The hotel is metres away from the old town with its bars and restaurants yet once inside it is secure and peaceful. There is a car park next door, small spaces, with a discount for longer stays, we paid 45 euros for 5 days. The buffet breakfast offers plenty of variety. All the staff we encountered went out of their way to be polite and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
