My brother recommended this hotel as he had stayed in the hotel a few years ago. I am so pleased that I took his advice and booked the hotel. The hotel is a very nice hotel. All the staff are so nice, helpful and friendly. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels every day. It was lovely to come back to our hitel room every morning after our room had been cleaned and find a lovely clean fresh smell when you opened the room door. The hotel is in a beautiful location and within walking distance of the beautiful Old Gdańsk Town. The breakfast has a great selection of hot and cold food, coffees, teas and juices. The only thing that was missing from the breakfast selection was porridge. I would recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone who is going to the very beautiful Gdańsk city. 😍

We visited this hotel for 3 nights. On arrival the room wasn’t ready (we arrived very early) but we could store our luggage and the lovely receptionist Katarzyna showed us the places to see during our stay. She was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her.The bar area is very relaxing with a play area for kids. The hotel is 5 minutes away from town and nearby shops.

The hotel is rather small and not too great on the outside. However, the breakfast was really good and the staff was friendly. The small play are in the lobby was a nice touch, too. In the summer the hotel yard must be nice to hang out at. Location is pretty good, too, with tram and bus going just in front, and the old town is just a stone’s throw away.

This hotel was everything we wanted as a family of 4 with 2 young kids. Centrally located so we could walk everywhere, room was lovely and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The best part was the reception with the play area for the kids. It was great to get a drink from the bar, let the kids play and unwind from a day of sightseeing. We turned up a couple of hours before check-in but the staff ensured we could get into our room early which I didn't expect but very much appreciated. We had a great experience and will stay with the Novotel brand again when we return to Poland.

Poorly cleaned room uppon checking in to our room but good cleaning during our stay. Good service at reception, when we complained we quickly got a new room, it was still dirty though so got the cheats exchanged, everything fixed within the hour. Would have given 4/5 stars but the treatment we recived the last day was horrible and therefore 3/5 stars. Poorly cleaned bedsheets, complained, recived a new room, the bed sheets were still dirty, they offered to change them which they did. And finally they were clean. For our troubles we recived a giftcard for 2 free drinks to be used during our stay. Information on google about bar opening times is not up to date so they close at 23:00 and not 00:00. Therefore we asked for drinks the last day before leaving, asked for wine which it said was included on the card, but the woman at the bar had to ask 2 other staff members before we could get anything, They looked at us unkindly and talked to us in a rude tone. When we finally got what we asked for she asked only if we wanted red or white wine without asking which one we wanted or letting us choose anything else. We asked for one of each. After later looking at the wine we recived we found out that the red wine was very cheap and the white wine tasted horrible. We did not get any water or asked if we liked our wine, just poored up the cheapest one straight away without asking anything more and walked away.. Kept stairing at us unfriendly while we were at the bar. Left feeling horrible! We were happy to come back and stay here again untill that very rude and horrible experience. Same Review removed from google...
