Dear Janne, We would like to thank you for this review about your recent experience in our hotel. We are pleased that you appreciated our hotel's central location and onsite gym facilities, both of which are integral parts of the Novotel Mechelen Centrum experience. However, we regret to hear about the difficulties you encountered with the air conditioning system. Our hotel is designed to offer individual temperature control for our guests' comfort, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Regarding the noise from the street, our rooms are generally praised for their tranquility, thanks to the double-glazed windows, and we are sorry if the outside sound disturbed your rest. We also apologize for any shortcomings you experienced with our staff and the resolution of the issues you raised; our aim is always to provide prompt and effective solutions. Lastly, we would like to extend our apologies if our breakfast offerings did not meet your expectations, as we strive to provide a variety of options to cater to our guests' preferences. Nonetheless, we are delighted that the gym contributed positively to your stay. Finally, we take pride in our hotel's prime location in the heart of Mechelen, close to many historic sites and attractions, and are glad you enjoyed this aspect of your visit. Nice hotel! Good price including breakfast, very nice location (near the vismarkt, very nice restaurants and terraces) Friendly staff, and clean rooms. Nice Breakfast with lots of options. If i ever go to mechelen again, i would surely stay here once again.

Unique spot in Belgium

Mechelen is such a unique spot in Belgium, and the Novotel there is a great choice. The place is super clean, and every staff member I came across was professional and courteous. The hotel is well-maintained, though the Executive room I got is bit on the smaller side. The breakfast spread is fantastic, and the location is right in the center, about a 10-15min walk from the train station, even with my large (25kg+) bag. There are tons of restaurants nearby, and Spar supermarket just a 3min walk away. I really loved both the hotel and the location

Room was a good size with a comfortable bed. AC in the room was a nice touch. As was the large screen TV. Breakfast was very good, with a nice choice of hot and cold food. The check in and check out procedure was quick and easy. Location is perfect for walking around Mechelen

We stayed here 2 or 3 times before. Very well located in the city centre, easy access to restaurants, clean, good beds, extensive breakfast, good shower, parking garage below the hotel. We had a pleadant stay.
