Qua ligging iets te ver van het centrum om te lopen. Wel ideaal bij de uitvalswegen. Prima hotel, met gratis parkeren. Kamer gedateerd en schoon. Prima ontbijt.

As for the distance to the city center, we are indeed about a 20 minute walk away, but we wanted to inform you that our hotel is also very well served by public transport. In fact, the tram stop is just 300 meters from the hotel, allowing you to quickly and easily reach the center of Caen without having to worry about your car. Novotel is altijd thuiskomen. De kamers zijn bijna overal iets versleten en oubollig, overal is er een zwembad en parkeerplaats en overal is het ontbijt goed. Vaak is ook het personeel super en dat is hier ook allemaal van toepassing. De ligging is centraal, niet ver van het centrum en vlakbij de uitvalswegen. Voor het bezichtigen van de D-day stranden ben je al snel een 20 tot 60 minuten aan het rijden maar het hele gebied ademt WO2 dus ook in Caen is er veel te zien. Speciale vermelding is het personeel waard. Van de barmensen tot de receptionisten, allemaal uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze auto startte niet in de ochtend en de receptionist heeft ons geholpen. Zijn moeder werkte immers bij een garage. Een moment later werd de auto gemaakt terwijl wij iets langer op de kamer mochten blijven. Geweldige service. De kamer was qua temperatuur perfect, maar wel iets gedateerd. De bedden waren goed en het was schoon. Niks te klagen dus.

As you have seen, we do our best to allow you to have a good time with us even in the event of a problem with your means of transport. We always do our best to help you. I take this opportunity to remind you that the reception is open 24 hours a day. As you mentioned in your comment, our hotel is ideally located between town and beaches. Zeer mager ontbijt; Drankjes in kartonnen bekers; Slechte 2-p slaapbank staat totaal niet in verhouding van de prijs; Slechte luchtcirculatie;

Dear Werner, I am very surprised by your comment. Have you noticed the "Gluten Free" center that we have set up for breakfast? I would like to add that we work as much as possible with local companies, in particular dairy products, bread and honey, which all come from producers in the region! And finally, all our pastries are baked on site every morning. I am sorry to read that it did not suit you. Glass glasses are at your disposal next to the fruit juices on the bar. Maybe you just haven't seen them ? Regarding the sofa bed, know that it is Novotel standard, I am sorry that it did not suit you.
