We have visited ElGouna for 27 yrs ! Staying in various hotels in our early years .We always favoured the MOVENPICK . The standards are so good … so we choose MOVENPICK in many other countries too. We then became VILLA OWNERS IN EL GOUNA for 16 yrs . El Gouna is in Our heart ! However we now feel it’s time to enjoy HOTEL holidays ! We’ve Sold the Villa. All our FAMILY. LOVE EL GOUNA , Movenpick Offers high standards , very attentive service, beautiful surroundings gardens , facilities . Food is of a high standard . Breakfast. They serve an amazing SWISS BISCHERMUESLI . Tarek. Is a F & B Manager who I remember working here over 20 yrs ago ! He asked chef to give me recipe ! Yummy ! Staff stay here loyal and attentive ! Rooms all have lovely views. We KNOW how hard it is to MAINTAIN a property in the DESERT ! So sometimes it’s not perfect but they try ! So come & relax and don’t stress if it’s not All gleaming & perfect . Do visit EL SAYADDIN. THE BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IN ELGOUNA … see our review ..

This resort was stunning. The people were amazing, and the atmosphere was beautiful. Our server, Wagdy, did a phenomenal job, and we were able to connect with him in such a way, which made the service all that more memorable. He is the server of a lifetime, and this place has the service of a lifetime. I would not have enjoyed my time as much as I did without Wagdy and these memories are the memories of a lifetime.

Very bad experience

The drinking water in the hotel rooms and restaurants is filtered tap water with very bad taste. I advise anyone coming to this hotel to bring his drinking water with him. If you ask them to bring mineral water and to pay for it they will tell you that they don’t have and you have to go to the supermarket in the downtown to buy!!!!!!!

Dear Nermin, Thank you for choosing our hotel once again for your stay in El Gouna, although we regret to know, that you were disappointed by the service provided; please accept our sincerest apologies for not meeting up to your expectations. Within our aim to reduce all single plastic from the hotel operation, committing to sustainable environmental practices, we are offering our guests complimentary bottled water. The water is filtered by the BRITA system, a worldwide leader in water filtration solutions and bottled and sealed by a professional, outsourced company. The whole process is subject to strict controls by the health authorities and regular laboratory tests. We regret that the taste of the filtered water was not convincing, and we will do everything we can to further improve this offer. However, we can assure you, that the drinking water provided is absolutely safe, Thank you for providing us your feedback and we do hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back at Movenpick Resort & Spa El Gouna. Very friendly and wonderful staff, great food and servers here remember you and what you like, VERY WELL. Wagdy (one of the servers (within the resort) went out of his way to custom make iced coffee, which isn’t on the menu, knowing that my family mentioned i love Iced Drinks and not hot. This is truly something you will not experience elsewhere!

It was a great visit here in Mövienpick el gouna. Best of this place ist th lagoon bar and his members.. my room 7226'7227. What i recommend ist the member maher. Every time he comes and ask if we need something and had a little chat about our family
