Good location, price and facilities

Really good location to be based at for Kyoto. The bathroom fan is loud and can't be turned off within the room. Reception staff can do it for you but it also turns off power to the bathroom and turns off the fridge in the room. Other than that, a great place to stay and see the sites.

Right across the Hachijo West exit. Take the stairs or elevator down (if you have large bags) cross the street and proceed to the 3rd floor for check-in. They can hold your bags before check-in or if your room/s available, pay 10,000 yen per hour until the check-in hour. I love the location, 7-11 behind the hotel, aeon mall 2 blocks away, kyoto train station across the street, airport limousine bus 5 minute walk. Pleasant receptionists, strong wifi in the lobby area where they have lounges, small seating areas, smoking area. The rooms are small but normal size for Japan I guess. Takes maneuvering especially if there are 2 people in the room but not a deal breaker. Rooms are small but make use of space efficiently. But again, you are not in Kyoto to hang out in your room. Toilet with bidet, seat warmers, strong water pressure and adjustable hot and cold water. Highly recommended. Would stay again.

I like the location right across from train station. Check-in is on the 3rd floor. The place had a strong disinfected smell that I got over I ask for no room service and place the door handle sign requesting such but they entered my room anyway.

Only 2 lifts, takes too long to get lift. Cleaners have rubbish and bags all through corridors on floor during day. Toilets not cleaned properly.
