Great pavilion hotel

A great hotel built as a series of pavilions, where the rooms are small villas. We loved this place, the breakfast was great, the bars were great and the pools were lovely. My favourite part of the hotel is definitely the reception with views across the courtyards to the golf course beyond. I would definitely stay here again.

5 star all the way - biggest most comfy bed I have ever slept in - had to be 8ft wide, rooms are amazing, the quality of the bedding, towels and furniture is second to none. We were all inclusive and cannot fault any of the food or drinks we had while staying, the resort is beautifully looked after and well kept. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much for them, too many to name individually, thank you all.

Nice but…….

Stayed here for 4 nights and played golf. Bedroom was just fabulous but they provide you with paper cups in the room, not in keeping with 5 star. Also they say they want to care about the environment but they have sinks in the vanity unit with no plug so you have to run the water all the time. Food on site nice but pricey. One slice of bread was charges at 6 euros. Lovely place but won’t be rushing back.

In reference to the hand wash basin in our rooms, we would like to inform you that it has a mechanism which must be pressed down to seal it and thus the cap will be closed. About the price of the bread service, we understand that this can be an important factor and we will be reviewing our menu to ensure that we offer options that are both delicious and affordable. We visited the spa today and had a wonderful day. My treatment, a 50 minute relaxing massage was absolutely amazing - my therapist, Asmae was great and delivered the massage with the perfect pressure and technique. Thank you. We were welcomed by the helpful receptionist, Sara who showed around the spa. After we had a delicious lunch (tuna lion was cooked perfectly and our waitress Sandra was very helpful. Many thanks everyone for a marvellous day 😊

Fabulous return visit

Another fabulous experience at SO, a reduced all inclusive menu didn’t sit well compared to our June visit but once again we could not fault the quality, staff and service. A massive shout out to Alina and team at the IXO for being so welcoming and attentive, you remembered us from June and your bar/mixology skills and your team are fantastic! Also, Arby at the pool bar, the best Mojito I have ever had!! Missed it on our last pool day, but we will be back. Golf was amazing, sunrise on Lagos was a memory that will stay with us for a long while, beautiful greens and fantastic golf chatter throughout the hotel. Another fantastic stay, just hoping the all inclusive does not get scaled back further!
