Walking distance to the beach and great for families and kids!

This beach front hotel is very nice. We stayed here for two nights. Lorne is a very small town so you can cover the entire place on foot unless you wander into some of the viewpoints close inland. The hotel is right past the roundabouts when you get to Lorne on Great Ocean Road. Plenty of parking space and once you check in the staff will get you a pass allowing your car to be parked right underneath your room. We booked ourselves into a ocean view (or meant to be but trees blocked the view partially) on the 3rd floor of the condo. Large balcony, fully kitchen, living room and a large bedroom. To be honest the room was very big but we hardly made use of it nor did we stay in the hotel too much therefore we can't comment on the amenities. It does feel like this will be a good place for family and kids.

from th emoment we cheked in we knew this wasnt a luxury escape that we had paid for reception ignored us didnt look up to say hello when we checked were told that there no parking with our rom and was given a piece of paper, highlighted where we could park .. it was dark and cold so we foumd our room then double parked to unload our bags then drove off down the driveway to the allocated parking . we had paid for an upgraded room and if the room we actully had was an upgrade it was appalling .. Dirty is not even the best way to describe it .. stained carpet , mould in bathroom grout , dirty spa bath ,dirty sink , spiders in the bedroom, thread bare towels , doonas were so thin , the louvre windows chipped and dirty no usb to charge your phone The room was not serviced the 3 days we were there , so no clean cups /glasses milk replaced. Kettle to big to fit under he sink to fill no instructions on how to get the heater working .. thank god for You Tube i coud go on I will give a positive review on the brekfast buffet , a good selction and well coked and presented .. lovely friendly staff espicially Jose .. who was a really great waiter .. Also location was great . but lorne is small and most other accomadation was near to the beach definatly wont stay again and definatly not recommened to friends or family

I have shared your comments with our reception team to ensure the check-in process is improved and our online compendium that is available from our welcome letter is better utilised. Our housekeeping is not a daily service, however any requests can be accommodated. I do hope you give Mantra Lorne another chance as I am sure we will exceed your expectations nect time round. Séjour de 2 nuits à la fin mars 2024. Point de départ d'une balade de 6 nuits sur la Great Ocean Road. Chambre "resort avec vue sur le jardin". Complexe de plusieurs bâtiments à 3 étages avec ascenseurs et donnant sur la mer. Les cacatoès et les canards abondent à Lorne. Formule "timeshare"; la finition intérieure, le mobilier et la proximité de la place de stationnement peuvent donc varier d'une unité à l'autre. La notre comprenait un petit frigo, quelques couverts et une table/2 chaises pour des repas légers. Dans la section où nous étions, il y avait une laveuse et une sécheuse sans frais pour 2 appartements. Des sachets de savons pour le lavage sont disponibles dans votre SDB. Un PD buffet varié et copieux est inclus dans la prestation, et le personnel y est avenant. Nous aurions pu facilement y demeurer plusieurs jours pour profiter de l'ambiance de Lorne, de ses restos et de sa plage. Enfin, le projet aurait avantage à faire disparaître les 4 terrains de tennis dans le jardin, et de les remplacer par des arbres et de la végétation.

Schön!Perfekt gelegen,modern und Zweckmäßig mit großer Badewanne,waren Einigermaßen beeindruckt.Alles sehr sauber ,aber das war in den vielen anderen Hotels auf unserem Tripp nicht anders.Die Lage am Strand ist auch nicht ohne!Sehr zu empfehlen,

Hotel novo, apartamentos com cozinha americana completa, sala com sofa cama, quarto e varanda. Bem localizado, com saida direta para a praia. Café da manha caro, não utilizei. No centro de Lorne. Boa escolha
