Casay on the Beach is closed for a makeover and will reopen in October 2024. Bayside Bar and Grill at Pacific Bay Resort is open 7 days a week and are a two-minute drive or 10 to 15 minute walk away.

We had an absolutely amazing time. So amazing I have rebooked our next visit. Only thing is I still have not received the deposit back from last stay but will talk to them when I get there for our next holiday.

Room tired but clean - needs a total make-over. We were not advised of the refurbishment of the resort and most importantly to us, the restaurant closed. Staff a little indifferent and suggested we could cancel if we wanted to or upgrade. After travelling all day, neither option was of interest because of the chaos of parking facilities at reception, plus whether the upgrade would be any better. Having to go out to another resort for dinner (our anniversary) was the icing on the cake.

You need to explain your hinden charges before anyone books you 1 star accommodation. I stay out of 20 days per month working week calander I away 15 days n the a comadation offered in coffs is very appling. For me to stay at a place with very weak internet as I am a r traveling rep is the most imported part of our day.

As we arrived at night and we were un familiar locating the Bure was a little challenging. Had we arrived during daylight I don’t think this would have been a problem

Renovation inconvenience poorly communicated

It's a gorgeous place, but actually staying there was ruined by the renovations. It's totally unclear that there's literally NO FOOD available on-site, and there's nothing within walking distance. Worse, it's a pain to order-in because you have to walk for 2 minutes to the car-park to meet any delivery. Even then, it's not well-enough signposted for Uber drivers to find easily (it seems). So if you aren't renting a car (like I was) you're really screwed. I'm sure it's a lovely place, but for me the simple task of not going hungry was a pain. The website mentions some renovations, but it totally fails to make the ramifications of that clear. If you have a car, it's probably fine. If you don't - steer clear.
