Great luxuous hotel, great staff too. Thank you to pribawa for the pizza, jaelani for the food and beverage, jean for the recreation, harris for the pool service, and yani for the wonderful smile qnd service. The pullman hotel is the best hotel in lombok island.

Nice from far but far from nice

This hotel is modern with large grounds and beautiful with a large pool and good view from ocean room and it is beachfront but you couldn’t swim in the sea as there is coral there. Plenty of sunbeds when we stayed but I imagine it wasn’t at full capacity. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Nice TV, safe and they provide water and all the little things you may need. We had a good lunch in the Aer restaurant with great service. Staff are nice and always willing to help. Hotel has a free shuttle bus but only goes at certain times and you have to book an hour beforehand. There is a taxi service there though but I think their prices are higher expectantly. When you look more closely, you can see the wear and tear at this hotel which is surprising for a 5 star and a new hotel. The housekeeping does a good job tidying the room but there were places in the bathroom like in the shower where there was grout on the tiles. This must be a normal standard for the Pullman brand as it was the same in the hotel on naithon beach in Phuket. Breakfast spread is ok, but I’ve had better in other 5 star hotels. The spread is a mixture of western and Asian cuisine however there are flies flying around the food with no measures in place to keep them away from the food. Also why give us tea cup size bowls for noodles and babur ayam? How about a normal sized bowl? If you are deciding on whether to add breakfast to your stay, I’d say don’t bother as there are much nicer places in Kuta to have breakfast if you can get there (e.g munchies). Also why charge guests to use the gym? Every hotel I’ve stayed with never charge for the gym.

Everything was superb. From nice staff (special thanks to Johan), nice hotel, clean room, good service and amenities. Tasty food and close proximity to Kuta Town (free shuttle service availble) add variety and places / restaurants you can explore.

This property is located in a newly developed area just outside of Kuta, Lombok, making it a tranquil escape from the busier parts of the island. It’s situated next to a MotoGP racetrack and a Novotel, with the town center about 3 km away. Fortunately, the hotel provides a convenient and free shuttle service to town, as there isn’t much else in the immediate vicinity. The beach is fairly spacious, but the coral in the water and significant tide movements make swimming less comfortable during certain times of the day. That said, the beachfront is perfect for lounging, although I noticed some litter like cigarette butts and wrappers, which could be better maintained. One of the highlights is the main pool, which is oriented towards the sunset, making it a prime spot for some stunning photos. The property itself feels modern and well-designed, with pleasant common areas and individual rooms that are nicely laid out. The rooms come equipped with all the modern amenities you'd expect, adding to the overall comfort. There are two restaurants on-site: one that serves a variety of dishes and another focusing on seafood, along with a pool bar. The food quality is good, but I did notice some areas that could benefit from better upkeep. In particular, the air conditioning units in the main restaurant tend to leak, which makes sitting at certain tables less desirable. Some of the beach umbrellas were broken as well, offering little shade on sunny days. Despite these minor issues, the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay, making for a very relaxing vacation. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with beautiful sunset views and don’t mind being a bit outside the main village, this hotel is a solid choice. Just be prepared for a few areas that need a little extra maintenance.

Nice but Bitter experience

The resort is at a very good location, a 30minutes drive from Lombok airport. The Mandalika, beach is renowned for its stony beach and the story behind the legend of Princess Mandaliķa, The resort in itself is very nice with staff everywhere being friendly to talk to. The food was tasty, although we did miss having any Indian dish while staying at the resort (we can understand as not a lot of Indians visit Lombok). The room was spacious and well appointed, but few things were off in the room. We encountered ants couple of time on the headboard side of the bed which was strange in a 5 star. As soon as I checked in to the room, I pulled out the bar doors and some dead insect with few ants around it fell on the floor. We complained about it at the same time and two more times and it got addressed every time but still ants kept coming back which was not pleasant The bathroom had a weird smell. Another strange thing was that the bath shower rarely had hot water. We complained about it to the front desk and next time it was there but it went off again next time I entered the shower. The irregularity in such things needs to be improved. Also, usually when a guest has such issues they are either offered complementary room upgrade (may be up to 2-3 tiers above the existing room level) or may be with some tangible or intangible pleasantries to compensate for the bitter experience but sadly nothing was there. We compared our experience with Pullman to The Stones Legian in Bali (both 5 stars at similar price tag while booking), similar issues were resolved much quicker and that we were upgraded as well. Next time we would rather stay at Sheraton Senggigi due to these issues.
