Clean room, comfortable beds, nice restaurants, friendly staff at the restaurants. Just amazing! Those who felt the rooms are dated, and the toilet stained do not understand the place and are not doing Desert Gardens a justice. The stain in the toilet bowl is due to the water around here. It’s not dirty. Water is precious - you are in the middle of a desert. Anyhow, we enjoyed every aspect of our stay. In front of our room are the native trees, we have the bush honey grevillea and our sons’ room the quandong tree. Just lovely. We just booked the standard room but it’s more than comfortable. The restaurant is excellent. We ordered the native meat platter and the tomahawk steak. Very generous serving- we were told they’re meant for two. But even our two teenage meat lovers sons and us couldn’t finish them!!! Thank you. The resort has regular buses transporting you to the airport, etc. But we hired a car for convenience. Plenty of car park spaces.

Nice clean rooms, had everything you needed for a short stay! Hotel grounds well maintained and is a short walk to town centre. All the Staff we encountered were lovely and only too happy to help, checking in was easy and Staff got through the line quickly. We booked the breakfast buffet for 3 mornings included in our stay but as we did an early morning tour so we were going to miss out on that particular day, Hotel made us up a cold packed breakfast to take with us on the tour which was great! Yes everything is more expensive at Hotel and in general at Uluru but you are in the middle of the desert so it’s to be expected! Just a fabulous trip made better by the great service at the hotel.

Arrived at an unexpectedly wet Uluru today. Demonic rains meant that all outdoor dining experiences were cancelled, resulting in indoor restaurants having to absorb all requirements. We were in Desert Gardens and their team were amazing. Despite the extra workload and power failure they gave great service with a smile and delivered delicious food. Well done to them all in exceptionally difficult circumstances.

It’s centrally located. Car parking is available, but a few minutes walk. Our room was on the 1st floor, and there are no elevators. Rooms were good. Bathroom was a bit old, for example the shower door did not close, so water went on the floor. You should make a reservation at the restaurants. There are some that you don’t need to, but you will have to wait in line. Check in took a while as well. Over 25 minutes. Major CC accepted. Wifi was good. It’s not a cheap location, and understandable noting the logistics, but I felt Accor could do better! A bit disappointed, but not the location.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Desert Deluxe King Bed Room . The room was spacious and nicely decorated. King Bed was comfy with good quality linen. Bathroom was large with a shower/bath that had great water pressure and was always hot. There are stairs to get to your upstairs rooms so be mindful if you have heavy luggage. No lifts. If you have mobility issues request a ground floor room. The carpet was worn around the bed area although no holes it will need replacing in a year or two. It was nice to have a balcony with a table and chairs to sit outside and admire the view. We ate each night at the Outback Tavern also run by Voyages. There is a path from the carpark directly to the Pub or you can opt to catch the free resort shuttle which runs approx every 20mins if you didn't want to walk or you could even drive yourself as there is parking there too. We chose the self cook BBQ each night and tried the buffalo steak and emu kebabs which were very nice. The other nights we opted for chicken and steak. It costs roughly $35-$55 including salad bar just depends on what meat you choose to how much you will pay. We enjoyed this each night along with live music and cold beer and a glass if wine it was great to chill and relax after a full day exploring Ulluru and surrounding areas. Staff were very friendly and polite and check in was easy. The car park is large and away from your rooms. There is a small IGA and cafes to eat at but we didn't so i cant comment on the food or service. I would stay here again if we ever went back to Ayers Rock
