Terrible Bar Tender

The bartender was rude. He delivered a beer I ordered without a glass. I asked for one and he grumbled. We asked to pay corkage for my wife’s wine; she takes her favorite to dinner. The bartender said it was illegal in Pennsylvania. Of course, we knew better. We went to Louie Louie on the Penn campus, paid corkage and had a terrific dinner. IT WAS SAD TO BE TREATED POORLY AS WE ARE IN A SUITE AT THE HOTEL AND EXPECT BETTER. Sadly but unsurprising, the bar was empty at the hotel.

Our experience here was mostly fine. Hotel is well located , room fine ( though good do with some more drawer space) though it is a little bit faded. Staff mostly charming but with a couple of exceptions. We tried to call the front desk several times but noone answered. Went down and chap in front of me had also been trying to call with no . The receptionists reply to us was that the phone had not rung. I pointed that there seemed to be a problem with their phone system. It would be difficult to describe the Complete lack of interest she had in this. There was no sense at all that she would do anything. Indeed the next evening the same problem occured

Joann and the catering staff were awesome! They provided outstanding service to our group during a recent meeting. They were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I wish all hotel catering services were this attentive and professional.

I recently hosted a high tea event for 100 people. The experience was wonderful from start to finish! Chris and Sean ensured everything was set leading up to the event, they were very helpful and responsive! Day of, Joann and Miriam were amazing- very flexible, accommodating and extremely professional. They all ensured for a flawless and enjoyable event for my guests! We will be back.
