This was my second stay and will be my go to NYC hotel from now on.As a loyalty member I was offered a discounted upgrade offer a few days before arrival which I fully took advantage of hello Suite! Our room was ready right when we arrived a bit earlier than check in time and I took advantage of the late check out also offered to loyalty members. All staff at the front of the hotel, lobby, concierge, housekeeping , luggage were top notch, bar staff were also super friendly. It was nice to see the restaurant open but we did not get a chance to try it this time. Room was super clean with Balmain soap and shampoo ! Suite was very quiet despite the rooms on either side us being occupied. My favorite part is the location , on a quieter street but easy to get to the action on Times Square, theater district as well as 5th Avenue shopping. Thank you Sofitel for making our mom daughter getaway such a memorable one.

Sofitel has long been my choice for a NYC visit. Its spacious and comfortable rooms offer refuge from the hectic pace of the city, and its staff — from housekeeping to restaurant service — is topnotch. Its beds are the most comfortable anywhere! This Sofitel is a refuge after a busy day of museums and theater, and I was happy to once again enjoy a stay there.

Warm Staff but room is small and not throroughtly cleaned

Ruby Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

Room not ready when we got there. Cannot check in early despite Accor diamond status. There was trash in the bedside drawer. Compared to other Sofitel hotel it was underwhelming. Intercontinental which is located nearby has bigger and cleaner rooms.

Ac was not working. They moved us to another room 6 hours before our check out. Room was cold. Even phone was not working. I always preffered Sofitel on my trips. This was my last time.
