Regularly stop over here a few times a year and it is always excellent. This year we were told in advance that the restaurant would be closed which was disappointing but we did know a week or two before arriving. However, we booked a privilege room and some aspects were lower standard than usual. Only one bathrobe was available, apparently they had run out despite the hotel being very quiet that night. There were no slippers which my husband queried and was told Accord has stopped this despite us having just stayed in another accord hotel where they were provided and many other hotels in the Mercure group clearly advertising them. There was no milk at all in the room for hot drinks and the coffee and tea facilities had clearly not been replenished as there was insufficient for two people. Not big issues but disappointing. The only other issue which was significant was that on arrival - at 4 p.m. The he car park was totally full as there was a conference on all day. Given many travellers use the hotel as a stopover, this should have been communicated in advance.

I stay at this hotel quite often and it is always a pleasure. Everywhere is immaculately clean, the staff friendly and efficient, the rooms comfortable and everything works. It's well placed for the centre of town with ample free parking in a secured compound.

Only reason not a 10 was the restaurant was not open on a Saturday night

Good afternoon, We were very disappointed to be told at 21h45 that the bar was closed by the male receptionist, We double checked with reception the next day to be told the bar will be shut at 21h00 as the night receptionist is new and has a lot of paperwork to do. I have run hotels and restaurants all my life and focused on customer service first, paperwork came after. I spent all day with my father suffering from cancer to be told I could not have a drink in the evening was not on when I chose the mercure as you had a bar. Best regards Pascal R.
