A shame to see such a flooring : the carpet and mats in the entrance, the corridors...Old and dirty. The stairs are to be painted urgently also, and are not practical at all as you have to be careful not to slip dangerously. The personal is very nice, and trying to be as helpful as can be. Hotel to be restored urgently...Very desapointed.

Although I had asked online for a room on the RDC as my wife has difficulty talking they put is in an upstairs room (although the downstairs rooms were mostly unoccupied). The food in the restaurant was tasteless and microwaved. Reception staff less than welcoming.

The lady took my card out of view and she tried to swiped it when it’s chip and pin then aggressively told me it’s no good i called the bank and they noticed she swipes it and didn’t use the chip and pin had to use another card terrible start after 10hours travelling I used ibis because of its reputation had I not be n so tired I would have gone somewhere else thank god for the barman and morning staff who made us very welcome

Small and old fashioned rooms, but nice bedding

We needed a trip stopa round N. where we could arrive at any time. We were scared by the rooms which are small and old fashioned. But when night came, we had a very good sleep in nice and comfortable bedding. Breakfast was honest and staff generally kind. Several staff members seemed to struggle with the IT system that handles bookings and ancilliary services (as breakfast).

I booked to stay for the beginning of May, however lock down in France caused you to cancel my stay. I was offered a rebooking up to December 31st but no refund. Unfortunately subsequent lock downs and restrictions in France and the U.K. along with ferry cancellations and caring for my 90 year old mother, meant I was unable to make the trip in the allotted time period. I am not sure why you have asked me to leave a review when I haven’t stayed at the hotel.

Good stay for a half way stop between France south en France north. Easy to find, not far from motorway. Hartly welcome with the bar still open at midnight, good room, good breakfast. Friendly and helpfull staff.

Although a bit run down, the room was spotlessly clean with excellent shower. We had a very good freshly prepared evening meal with extremely friendly cook and waitress. The rooms are very small but with adequate storage for an overnight stop.

A hotel we often use on our journey to southern Spain although in need of a revamp the friendly and welcoming staff more than make up for it. The location of the hotel is some what convenient to the main motorway link and it is on a mian road so easily found.. The hotel has a large car park with disabled parking spaces.

Situated on major approach road to Niort - easy to find. about 2 k from city centre. Car park when full is a bit on the small side. Rooms typical original Ibis - hotel is in need of a total revamp to bring it up to current Ibis standards of finish. Buffet Restaurant is small and poorly furnished. Cooked food choice could be improved. Breakfast sufficient for purpose. Pleasant helpful staff.

Nice to have a bath

Enjoyed staying here. This Ibis has yet to be modernised so after a long drive, it was lovely to have a bath not just the usual shower. The rooms are smaller but for one night it was good and while there was still a bath, we would stay here again.

This Ibis hotel has always been of the better ones which I have used, Even I don't visit the hotel very often it is usually manned by helpful and agreeable staff. The lady at the reception desk remembered me from a previous visit a few years ago - how's that for service!!

Well priced for overnight stay small room and bathroom very tight for space. Easy found with sat nav. Staff at reception very helpfull and friendly. There are no evening meals available on a sunday night and breakfast is a bit over priced. We still use it as it is pet friendly and on route for our trave to Spain.

Lovely place, good location to stop on way back from Spain, comfy bed but pillows too soft. took Perro and only cost extra 5 euros, car park ok , all in all good place to stay. Got there late in evening but had a smile from the girl at reception, very nice.

Convenient stop-over when travelling south

A welcome stop-over for those travelling south from the channel ports. Handy Lidl next door to stock up on essentials. Further out of town is a small development with shops and restaurants. Worth the 10 minute walk if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

Attractive looking outside and public areas but rooms were very tyred looking and a bit poor for an Ibis hotel. Breakfast had a very poor selection and not much to suit a diabetics needs and a bit expensive for what little you get. Staff on the other hand were excellent and could not have been better.
