Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Blocks von der berühmten Einkaufsmeile Ginza entfernt. Alles ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, zudem befinden sich zahlreiche Metrostationen in unmittelbarer Nähe, sodass man schnell zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten kommt. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Frühstück gut und abwechslungsreich. Der Empfang war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders angenehm: Auf Wunsch kann man sich ein Fußmassagegerät ins Zimmer bringen lassen – perfekt nach den vielen Schritten, die man in Tokio sammelt 🙂

Der Standort des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet. In der Umgebung gibt es viele nette Bars und Restaurants. Bis auf die Bäder sind die Zimmer neu eingerichtet. Allerdings sind die Matratzen sehr hart, sodass der Schlaf nicht sehr erholsam war. Wir waren zu viert und alle empfanden das so. Die Fotos vom Frühstück sind etwas irreführend. Die Auswahl ist deutlich kleiner und die Atmosphäre beim Frühstücken entspricht nicht ganz den Abbildungen. Zudem gab es bei der Buchung und dem anschließenden Check-in ein Problem. Gebucht wurde ein Zimmer mit Tatami-Matten, die leider nicht vorhanden waren. Aufgrund der Renovierung wurden diese wohl abgebaut. Hierüber hätte ich zumindest eine kurze Information vorab per E-Mail oder spätestens beim Check-in erwartet.

Wir waren bereits zum 2. Mal im Ibis Styles Tokyo Ginza East. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sowie das Bad sind klein, das Bett bequem. Wir hatten ein Room-Upgrade in ein Zimmer mit Tatami-Matte. Das Zimmer war zufriedenstellend sauber, nur leicht staubig. Wenn man mit einer einfachen Einrichtung zufrieden ist, dann ist dieses Hotel sehr zu empfehlen. Die Lage ist sehr gut, jeweils wenige Minuten Fußweg zu 3 verschiedenen U-Bahnhöfen bzw. U-Bahnstrecken (Kyobashi Station - Ginza Line, Takaracho Station - Asakusa Line und Hatchobori Station - Hibiya Line). Im 11. Stock gibt es 2 Waschmachinen und Trockner, ein Onsenbad und 1 Dachterrasse, die sehr klein ist. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Restaurants und Kneipen. Gerne wieder!
