Wir hatten ein wunderbares Zimmer im 41. Stock mit Blick auf die Bay- einfach traumhaft! Der Poolbereich ist ebenfalls wunderschön. Leider kann man dort keine Getränke oder Snacks bestellen, dies hat sehr gefehlt. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Die A-la-Cart Auswahl beim Frühstück ist sehr gut, könnte aber dem luxuriösen Anspruch noch gerechter werden. Das dazugehörige Buffet war leider sehr klein. Toll wäre noch Sushi gewesen, ein Sekt und Ähnliches. Die Lage ist gut, die JR ist gut zu erreichen (ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß), jedoch braucht man etwas um in die Ausgehviertel zu gelangen. Restaurants und Bars sind nicht fussläufig erreichbar.

Toller Service, tolle Räumlichkeiten. Vor allem Mara, Keira und Tulap (Spa area) waren extrem zuvorkommend und haben unseren Aufenthalt unvergessliche gemacht
Schade jedoch dass Kleinkinder zumindest nicht mit in den Pool Bereich dürfen, dass Handys gestattet sind (wenn man in den Pools ist denkt man die ganze Zeit dass man auf einem Foto auftauchen könnte)

Schöne Aussicht, enttäuschender Service
Die Aussicht auf den Tokyo Tower ist sehr schön und wirklich beeindruckend.
Leider war der Service nicht gut und sehr langsam.
Beim Frühstück mussten wir fast eine Stunde warten, bis das Hauptgericht serviert wurde.
Die Getränke kamen auch erst, nachdem wir zweimal nachgefragt haben.
Der Guest Service war ebenfalls sehr langsam.
Nach einer Stunde gab es keine Antwort, und ans Telefon ging niemand.
Am Ende mussten wir selbst zur Rezeption gehen.
Dort wurde uns gesagt, dass die gewünschten Sachen in das falsche Zimmer gebracht wurden.
Auch beim Check-out gab es Probleme.
Wir mussten selbst sagen, welche Getränke wir aus der Minibar genommen haben,
und die Rechnung wurde sehr langsam erstellt.
Nur die Aussicht entspricht einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel.
Für diesen Service bin ich in Zukunft nicht bereit zu bezahlen.

While we are pleased to know you found the view of Tokyo Tower impressive and your accommodation clean, it is clear that our service, from breakfast and guest services to check-out, was unacceptably slow and inattentive. Waiting nearly an hour for a breakfast course, having to repeatedly ask for drinks, and receiving no response from guest services for over an hour are not standards we accept. It is equally disappointing to hear that our team's attentiveness at reception and during your departure did not make you feel welcomed or valued, especially as a returning guest.

Ein wahnsinnig schönes Hotel, mit geräumig, modern eingerichteten Zimmern und fantastischem Blick über Tokio. Viele Details im Zimmer sowie die Aufmerksamkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals heben das Fairmont Tokio von anderen Luxushotels ab. Die Qualität der Speisen im Driftwood Restaurant ist außergewöhnlich hoch und auch die Cocktails sind hervorragend gemixt. Makoto hat uns wundervoll bedient, er macht einen tollen Job. Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen und die verschiedensten Sehenswürdigkeiten Tokios sind bequem auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Das perfekte Hotel für kurze und lange Aufenthalte in Tokio. Wir haben bereits in einigen Fairmont Hotels geschlafen - dieses ist mit Abstand das beste.
