We came to the hotel to celebrate my daughter’s 3rd birthday and my daughter had a great time. There are many activities for kids her age, she loved the Gymboree and the water park. The only downside is that they’re open from 10am which is a bit late for young kids who are up early. We loved the rooms, they were designed beautifully and had all the amenities kids need. We also really liked the 3pm chocolate hour that was a nice pick me up for our daughter between lunch and dinner. As for improvements, the food in the dining room was very basic without a lot of vegetarian options and “adult” options in general. Most items were fried or not super flavorful which is good for kids but not so good for adults. The other issue we experienced is that there is only one restaurant onsite that provides lunch options and they were also very basic high with carbs and unhealthy. Considering the resort is a bit isolated, it’s pretty crucial to have more options onsite or at least a small mini market where guests can buy food/snacks. The last thing we noticed is that the staff wasn’t really fluent in English which was a big deal considering there are so many foreigners staying in the hotel. For example when asking the front desk where’s the kids bathrooms in the lobby the receptionist responded “go to your room” which is odd because the bathrooms were just behind us so it was clearly a language barrier. All in all we had a great time other than these small issues and will be happy to visit again

Great accommodation, nice food, fantastic facilities for kids, amazing views to Balaton. It’s a pity that due to lack of guests kids activities don’t take place.

Hotel is new and very suitable for children, including all facilities Facilities are great and the area is very clean and beautiful However, not enough atmophere for adults.. Water coolers for drinking is missing, especially in the heated pool area The menu at the restaurant must have more variaty as the only lunch option at the hotel

Our stay was great, we enjoyed the wellness and the family park as well. However, we would have liked more variety in meals for babies and little children, such as vegetable stew, risotto, rice pudding etc.

we had a great vacation in Movenpick Balaland resort with our 2 and 4 YO boys, location is well maintained, clean and pleasant. Gymboree is insanely good, and the boys stayed and played there for hours. food can be better though, they should provide more fruits and more variety of foods for children, menu at pool restaurant is a bit expensive relatively to Hungary. overall great stay
