We stayed about a week, to ski at Mt Hutt nearby. A wonderful experience overall at Terrace Downs, thank you to Chris for her cheerful smile in the mornings at breakfast, and to the whole team as well for the warm hospitality. The food (both daily breakfasts and dinners) was excellent, the villas were spacious and that stunning view of the mountains. What is not to like about this place.

Let me start with the view — OMG! It’s absolutely mind-blowing. The location isn’t far from the CBD, which makes it super convenient to get to. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa, and it was spacious, cozy, and offered a spectacular view from every corner. We also dined at the on-site restaurant for both dinner and breakfast, and I honestly can’t express how amazing the food and service were — top-notch! My husband played golf and he said it was a pretty good experience as well. The only hiccup we experienced was with the room keys. After our first night, they stopped working, and we ended up waiting outside in the freezing cold for about 15 minutes while my husband went to get replacements. But aside from that, the whole experience was magical, and I honestly can’t wait to come back again!

This was our third visit in 15 months and we are never disappointed.Terrace Downs is a great place to get away from everyday life . Even if you don't play golf there are walks for exercise and views to take in.The meals are superb and cooked individually with a comprehensive variety to choose from. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Chalet 219 is a large 3 bedroom unit but lacks any wall decorations/art ! We will be back ! Plenty of free parking and fast reliable wifi.

We booked Terrace Downs restaurant to celebrate our 50th Wedding anniversary. I could not have booked a more perfect place. The setting and room we used was beautiful. Tables set beautifully with cloth napkins. The food was of the highest quantity and presentation. There was so much food even feeding large eating farmers!! The surplus we took home for dinner but no one could eat another mouthful in the evening. The staff were obliging, courteous, efficient but unobtrusive. We had an absolutely fabulous celebration which none of will ever forget. Thankyou to all chefs and staff
