Possible one of the worst meals I have attempted to eat

We are at the restaurant on Friday evening We order 2 specials lasagne and it was inedible. The mince tastes like leftovers from a Mexican meal and the lasagne sheets were undercooked. Another person had the Pasta and it was that sweet it could be a dessert. Then we had dessert and that topped off the night. Burnt Microwave puddings. It will go down in history for all the wrong reasons. The wait staff were good and did their job well. The shower in 225 was faulty and dripped and sprayed water everywhere.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bathurst Mantra. The staff were helpful, Lisa in the restaurant was particularly friendly. The food was also great and there was a good selection of gluten free options. We will definitely stay again.

Poor location highway noise

Receptionists were rude not obliging after travelling 5 hours and arriving at 1pm but despite the room made up wouldn’t allow us an hours grace. Receptionists on all occasions weren’t located behind the desk in fact one was based upstairs and had to come down to assist.

At Mantra, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. As standard checkin time is 2pm unless prior arrangement has occurred and all rooms have been checked by the supervisor, our team will generally not do early checkin. However I can see that you actually did check in at 1.35pm so an early checkin was granted. Our team are cross trained to assist in other areas of the property if required too, the receptionist would have been assisting other guests if the counter was unmanned at the time, we do have the sign on the counter and the team do come straight away when called. It is an unfortunate aspect of the industry we work in where people are hard to find and we have to do what we can with the people we have and this does sometimes mean that they are helping in other sections of the hotel We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future.
