Good Morning, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay at Mercure Orange. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment you experienced during your anniversary celebration. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we appreciate your candidness in sharing your concerns. Firstly, we want to express our deepest apologies for the presence of spiders and a spider web in your room upon arrival. We understand the impact this had on your experience, especially on such a special occasion. Please be assured that we take your feedback seriously, and we have addressed this issue with our housekeeping team to ensure such oversights do not occur in the future. Your comfort and satisfaction are of the utmost importance to us. We are glad to hear that our front desk staff was understanding and promptly accommodated your request to change rooms. However, we regret any inconvenience caused by the follow-up phone call suggesting a return to the initial room. This miscommunication has been addressed internally to prevent similar occurrences. Regarding the breakfast situation, we sincerely apologize for the chef's absence, which resulted in the redirection of guests. We understand the importance of a seamless dining experience, and we are working to improve our communication and contingency plans to prevent such issues in the future. Your feedback serves as a valuable reminder to consistently uphold the high standards that our guests expect from Mercure. I did however try to call you on the Monday after your departure with no reply. I did contact our Accor team and I had stated that I had tried to call you and was waiting on a call back, hence why no response was given from our CEO.
