Mercure Orange 4 stars

We stayed two nights as a relatively close getaway to use up Accor reward points. We enjoyed our time in the room which was clean and functional. I liked that we could open a window to get fresh air.

I come monthly for work and only stay at the mecure

First time in Orange, great location, clean, good to have welcome drinks after a long drive.

Has improved recently. Toilet amenities are good. Complimentary drinks were appreciated..,also found out Accor members get 20% discount on food

Room was spacious with a modern updated bathroom, furniture and fittings are attractive. Plenty of parking in the centre of town

Well appointed disabled room. Comfortable furnishings. Centrally located in the town. Off street parking. a pleasant room to stay in.

Clean, well appointed room with very comfortable bed. Ideal location for our stay. Disappointed to find that parking was not allocated to rooms and so had to park some distance from our room, unsatisfactory when having to carry bags etc.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly , lots of hair on the floor and some on the vanity .

The room was beautifully presented, clean and staff was friendly. Unfortunately the live music coming from The Green House room in the adjacent club was unbelievablely loud, not only did we have to put up with the noise, but also the patrons after the music had stopped, who showed no consideration for any of the guests. We had a group fight in the carpark early hours of Saturday morning that required police attention. We did report our concerns to reception with little response, in sheer desperation we decided to speak to the club's duty manager Michelle directly. Michelle was very good she arranged for a refund on our accommodation promptly, she stated she couldn't stop the music from playing, however offered us accommodation with a neighbouring facility. Due to the fact it was nearly 8pm and we had dinner arrangements we decided to stay at The Mercure as we were leaving early the next morning. We were extremely disappointed as we were not told at booking that there would be loud music playing till early hours of the morning and that we would have to put up with the yahooing outside our room. Unfortunately due to our very disappointing experience we won't be staying with you again or recommending this facility to anyone looking for accommodation in Orange :(

Stayed here for 1 night and it was 1 night too many. Room had a drainage issue which emitted a terrible smell. Staff had tried to disguise the smell with perfumed crystals which just resulted in a florally, sulphuric smell combo. It was overwhelming, gave me a headache and breathing difficulties. It was a surprisingly noisy stay. From the idling 4wd's in the car park, doors slamming all night, RSL band - I hardly slept which wasn't ideal ahead of a big drive the next day. Would I recommend or stay here or again - absolutely not

Had to stay a couple of days accompanying my father for day surgery. The surgery was completed earlier than expected and he needed to sleep and rest asap but our room had not been cleaned. A quick request through reception and it was done in 10 mins. Thanks so much.

We had a great stay at the Mercure in Orange. The staff were very attentive. The location in the centre of town made moving around very easy. As an Accor Plus, received 50% discount at the adjoining RSL and the breakfast at Cafe Latte was great value. Our small concern was that we could hear the folks in the next room through the adjoining door.

We recently stayed whilst in orange. We were traveling with a young baby, and asked for a cot for the room. The staff went above and beyond to set up the room for us. The cot was beautifully made and the room was immaculate. We will definitely stay again.
