It was difficult to overall evaluate this hotel because some bits were just phenomenal and others severely lacking…. What it does well The location and view is absolutely stunning and every morning and evening at meal times that view would simply take your breath away. The beds are absolutely wonderful and comfortable and I liked the Clarins shampoo and shower gel and fresh towels every day. What it does badly I know this can’t be helped because it’s built in to a cliff side, but the whole layout of the hotel is very odd with 2 lifts to have to get around. One lift up as far as floor 5 then a corridor to another lift to floor 9. Because of the cliff side issue our room was long and dark. We were upgraded to a suite on the 2nd floor but our sea view was more road view and service entrance where the staff would congregate to smoke cigarettes. The whole lighting system in the bedrooms is utterly unfathomable. Why over complicate it, along with the electric curtains which meant you could have them open or closed but nowhere in between. When we arrived there was absolutely no hanging space for clothes at all?!? In a room that size we could not figure out why there was no wardrobe. When we enquired they said it’s no problem they can arrange for a hanging rail on wheels for the duration of our stay and that’s what we got. Utterly bizarre. The rooms with a plunge pool seem odd as from the pool and restaurant area you can see that these have no privacy whatsoever as they are glass balconies and glass plunge pools! We had no issue with getting sunbeds but I can totally see that this would be a major issue in summer. we did however love the resort and have booked to come again this year, just a different hotel.

The Hotel is on a great location and is minutes away from lots of restaurants. We were upgraded and had a larger plunge pool, but we never used it, as our room was to the rear of the Hotel and we never got any sun. Our room was spacious but lacked a few details. No dressing table, so it was difficult to do my hair and makeup. No shelves in the bathroom, so nowhere to put your toiletries. Limited hanging space for clothes. However I loved the Clarins shampoo etc, the robes and fresh towels and the little selection of pastries. Coffee machine was great and the huge bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the Team work so very hard to make sure you have everything you want. Thank you for the complimentary bottle of wine on our arrival. I loved the doormen! If you could not find a parking space they would take the keys and find one for you, then when you need the car back, they would drive it to the entrance - lovely touch. Never used either of the swimming pools as it was hard to get a bed. Private beach opposite was great as you could always get a lounger. Top Tips - book a sea view room to get some sunshine. Book bed and breakfast only as there are hundreds of restaurants nearby. No need to take towels and toiletries as they provide them for you. Great Hotel.
