Lovely city break in the heart of Transylvania

Massive hotel located on a hill that dominates de town. Large garden and huge parking lot, which could accommodate dozens of buses and trucks. From distance, the property looks like the mansion of a proud local landlord. There was even a lazy cat relaxing in front of the entrance. We couldn't believe it's a Mercure hotel until entering the lobby and receiving small gingerbreads as welcome treats. However, once stepping inside the room, it became clear it's a Mercure standard accommodation. Cozy bed, modern furniture, fancy bathroom. Decent breakfast with lots of regional food choices, including homemade "zacusca", baked eggplants salad and local cheese selection. The indoor swimming pool is super generous, although looks a bit outdated. Very kind staff and incredibly good value for money.

I have recently returned to Mercure Medias, after several previous stays during the last years. It was (once again) a great experience. A spacious and comfortable suite, at the highest Accor standards, delicious food at the restaurant (at dinner and breakfast) plus use of the spectacular swimming pool. It is a privilege to have access to such a big, heated pool (recently refurbished). Great value hotel stay overall ! I was warmly received by all the hotel personnel, as every time that I visit. Many thanks to Ms. Diana T. at the Reception Desk, who has taken care of my preferences. Will definitely return in the next future.

We stayed one night and enjoyed the spacious, modern, comfortable accommodation. The room was well-appointed and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best we had anywhere. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a bit out of the centre: it's about a 20 minute walk into town. We drove part of the way to cut it down to 5-10 minutes. Exceptionally good value.

Preisleistung ist total in Ordnung, wir haben das Hotel extra gewählt, weil es abseits des Stadt Rummels liegt, natürlich kann man es nicht vergleichen mit einem deutschen Viersternehotel, aber trotzdem absoluten empfehlenswert Hier ist wirklich Jammern auf hohen Niveau oder besser gesagt typisch deutsch Hotel Gäste können ein Riesen Schwimmbad mit benutzen, Sauna inklusive Zimmer sind total okay und sauber Badezimmer sehr sehr sauber Wir waren jetzt schon das dritte Mal in diesem Hotel und würden es jederzeit wieder buchen. Personal freundlich im Restaurant, absolut sehr gutes Essen. Nur zu empfehlen, Parkplätze kostenlos in Hülle und Fülle. Von uns 4 Sterne plus Frühstück ist auch sehr gut und nur zu empz

Tijdens de rondreis door roemenie geslapen in dit zeer mooie hotel. De kamer waar we op de 4e verdieping sliepen , kamer Leopold, was super goed en heel gezellig ingericht. De bediening tijdens ontbijt was vriendelijk en het ontbijt was bijzonder goed. Een prachtige plek als uitgangspunt om de omgeving en stad sighisoara te bezoeken.
