The various rooms and facilities of the Mercure Dalat Resort are scattered throughout several villas and beautiful gardens delicately designed in the old French architectural style, with in mind the prestigious Goncourt award winning autobiographic book of Marguerite Duras, "L'amant - The Lover" taking place in Vietnam in the 1920s.

A woderfull place

This hotel is a unique place in Dalat. You can get real french feelings. The hotel has a wonderfull design and provides you with an very romantic athmosphere. The roms are nicely designed and you got the feeling beeing in a mountain ressort in Europe. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast is excellent. At the beginning of our stay we had some minor, unneccesary difficulties, but thanks to Mr. Hiep from the Front office everything was satisfactory solved. Thanks again to him for his outstanding hospitality and assistance. The hotel is absolutly recommandable an we will definitly return.

I had high expectations for this new hotel, but...

Overall, the service needs improvement. I had to wait to check in, but the receptionist didn’t seem to care. I understand that Friday afternoons can be busy, but there was no one ahead of me. Normally, they would at least acknowledge my presence and ask me to wait for a moment. It even felt like they were trying to avoid me. Also, the stain on the mattress cover was really terrible. I requested a replacement, but it took quite a while.

Nice environment and good stay

The check-in process was pleasant. When we were led to our room, I realized that the hotel was full of roses and other flowers. It can be said that it is a hotel in a garden. The cleanliness of the room is satisfactory, and the bed is not too soft and very comfortable. The exhaust system in the bathroom and toilet did not seem to be working. There may be something wrong with the sewer or water pipes as a bad smell occur occasionally. Other than that, everything was fine. The room also has multi-purpose sockets. The room is well lit. Before I forget, Mr Harold Nguyen are very helpful and friendly. Regarding breakfast, this is one of the few hotels that provides sparkling wine for breakfast. The food tasted generally good, but some items were not hot enough, such as the congee. The food doesn't change vary much from day to day.
