Mercure Chur City West 4성

If you don’t do modern hotels it’s time to change your mind. We stayed at the Hotel Mercure in Chur, Switzerland for one night and had a great experience. The hotel is around a 5–7 minute taxi ride or a 30-minute walk from Chur station. It’s part of a shopping mall complex, but don’t let the modern exterior put you off — once inside, it feels comfortable and well thought out. Our room had beautiful mountain views and offered all the modern comforts you’d expect: air conditioning, plenty of power sockets, electric window blinds, and clean, contemporary design throughout. Everything felt fresh and well maintained.Bed was super comfortable. A pleasant surprise was the restaurant on the 2nd floor, which was both affordable and very good. We paid CHF 22 for spaghetti bolognese and CHF 8 for a glass of red wine, which is excellent value for Switzerland. The staff were friendly and helpful, and guests also benefit from discounts on local buses and cable cars, which is a nice added bonus. Overall, a great stay — comfortable, modern, good value, and well located for exploring Chur and the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended.

We stayed at this hotel as part of a Glacier Express tour package. Although this hotel is located out of town in a business park / shopping centre it’s only a ten minute door to door trip by bus both to the train station and the old town. The hotel even gives you a free bus pass. Our room was one the corner rooms of the building with full height windows overlooking the snowy mountains. The room was a comfortable size with a walk in shower, coffee machine,refrigerator etc adding to our comfortable overnight stay. The breakfast buffet was also of a high standard. The front reception staff are very welcoming. In fact I would like to send special thanks to Rosa on reception, on our morning of departure I realised I had left some important documentation in the rooms safe 15 minutes before the Glacier Express’s departure. I rang the hotel and Rosa arranged for the documentation to be posted to our final hotel stay in Switzerland at The Mercure Stoller in Zürich. This saved me a lot of inconvenience and falling out with my partner over my error. If we ever returned to Chur this would be our go to hotel, my partner liked the shops too. Nice to see great service and understating exists today .

Modern hotel which is a short bus ride from the station (arrived off the glacier express). You get a discount card from reception in lieu of tourist tax which gives free bus travel. The reception staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was large, clean and warm with a comfy bed. Can’t comment on the breakfast as early start for the Bernina express.

Excellent hotel…stayed before travelling on Bernina express. Warm welcome at reception and great room. Chur card meant travel on buses and entry to some local museums was free. We visited the old town… charming place and will happily return.

쇼핑몰이 연결되어 있어 위치가 좋고, 시내도 가까습니다. 근처의 뷰도 너무 훌륭하고 특히 양쪽 통창이 좋습니다. 어매니티도 컨디셔너와 바디로션까지 잘 챙겨져 있어 편리했습니다. 조식도 괜찮지만 출장으로 5박이상 머물렀기때문에 매일 같은 음식을 먹어야하는 점이 조금 아쉽습니다.
