I read a few negative reviews before booking this hotel and I almost let them pursuade me not to book BUT I AM GLAD I BOOKED!!! The hotel is beautiful, well maintained, perfect location. The beach club Hyde was amazing each day and our room with the jacuzzi was so beautiful to relax in after a long day shopping and on the beach. Our first room had an issue with the bathroom and Amelia at the front desk jumped into immediate action to find us a new room, the only other room with a jacuzzi. The concierge is amazing at making reservations for restaurants and car service. Thomas and Davide were exceptional. They booked us a massage for our room that was 5 star. The food at Mr Nakamoto was great and the vibe each night was lovely. Room service can use a little polishing, small things like forgot the cream for the coffee or butter for the bread basket but overall the room service was fast and attentive. In closing, do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS HOTEL NOW, you will not regret your stay here. Thank you again Amelia, we will miss you and see you next year!!! -Sean and Maryana

We stayed 4 nights in a City View Room. this is not a prime Sea view room but is not cheap at circa 1,000 Euro for a night. The room itself was large and well appointed but the bathroom was very small and had no fixed shower! The lack of a swimming pool is surprising in a 5 star hotel on the coast as is the very small and ill equiped gym. Access to the beautiful Med across the road is via the excellent but not cheap Hyde Beach Club for which hotel residents get a small discount. The web site highlights the Hyde but fails to mention the significant extra cost. Staff were generally cold and unfriendly with poor customer service. Overall very exy for what you get.

A friend and I visited at the end of June. The hotel itself is in a great location, central to many different shops, restaurants etc. However, upon arrival we were told that the beach was shut (we were not notified prior to arrival) , and the hotel has no pool. Therefore there was nowhere to relax during the day, and instead we had to book a seperate beach where sunbeds were 70€ each. We then got into our room and had no shower, only a bathtub. When talking to reception we were told ‘this is France, we only use baths’, for a 5 star international chain hotel, this is unacceptable. After continuously complaining, we were moved to a room with a shower, which initially was ‘not possible’. Very rude staff in reception.

Wonderful stay off the Croissette. This hotel is near the beach, shopping, and many restaurants. Loved the room decor and the staff were friendly and helpful. The concierge was exceptional and helped us plan a day trip to St. Tropez and provided wonderful restaurant recommendations. The hotel also has a lovely garden where you can dine or have a cocktail. This hotel could benefit by installing a pool. The beach is nearby but was often crowded, loud, and it’s rocky.

Highly recommend the Mondrian for a stay in Cannes. Very centrally located. Charming, fresh, top-end luxury and the front garden is gorgeous to have breakfast or stop by for a drink. Access to the beach is also great for a swim or unwind. Def love staying here again next time in Cannes.
