I don't remember too much about my stay there, but the staff was really nice and the lobby was very roomy and comfortable. But most of all, the reason I'm writing this review, is that the bed (just a nondescript single bed in a single room) was probably the most comfortable I've stayed in. So much so, that when I had to get a new mattress at home recently, I remembered that bed and emailed them to get the brand. I thought about ordering one of those Epeda mattresses, but they are hard to get outside of France sadly -- perhaps I'll just have to stay there again 🤣 and this time maybe take full advantage of the XVII from my destination mattress.

Good location but not a 4 star hotel

1) Breakfast selection is very poor. If you don’t like poached eggs, you have 0 option for anything else in hot food. 2) Only full fat milk available for filter coffee. No low fat milk!! 3) my bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly on one of the days. The bin wasn’t emptied, used and empty coffee glass not taken away! 4) the reception area smells of food as you walk in.

It's surprising to hear of an odor in the reception area, as our design aims to create a harmonious and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. We will certainly look into this matter. Check in was smooth and the room was kindly available early. Everything was clean and the complimentary drink was a lovely gesture. I will be back. The staff were really helpful and nice. The room was a good size and the location great, The breakfast was lovely.

Hip, trendy hotel located in modern Paris

Tribe has a nice vibe with it but both elevators were broken when I arrived so I had to bring my luggage to the 7th floor. Breakfast could have more diversity (turkey options, hard-boiled eggs) but their baguette and cappuccino is good! Room is cozy but one of the blinds are broken so I had to manually turn it up and down. Room offers capsule espresso and kettle. Despite some downside, its kind and accommodating staff makes up for it. They’re easy to approach and ready to assist you. They also have a stylish gym! That was a surprise. Location is far enough from the landmarks and will give you a taste of modern Paris in Batignolles.

Such a lovely hotel. It’s in a fabulous, trendy location with shops, bars, restaurants and the metro nearby, but it’s the hotel itself that is a real treat. It has a wonderful enclosed garden to sit and have a drink. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast superb, and the staff great. I’ll definitely stay here again when I next visit.
