Good place to stay. Clean rooms. Nice linens. Great staff. Front desk people quick and efficient. Room cleaners are very good. Room size for Asian size is adequate. Bath n toilet is bigger than normal. Not all rosy. Its a bit of a walk to MRT...a bit. A good walk to the "major" bus station near Joo Chiat Complex. There is bus 33 or 33a much closer station. But learned it after. Front desk is kind to call taxi for their guests.

Close to the charming, Old World architecture of Singapore

Stayed at the standard twin room for two nights this January 2024. The room was very small (10 sqm) and had no windows but it was clean enough for a comfortable stay. The shower had good water pressure and the towels were changed daily. There’s a 24-hour reception and the staff were courteous and knowledgeable. There was no breakfast included in our room stay but you’ll be spoiled for choices with hawker stalls and restaurants specializing in Peranakan cuisine around the area. There’s also a vending machine for bottled drinks near the entrance of the hotel and a 7-11 is a few meters away. The hotel is also quite close to the famous Peranakan Houses and a lot of vibe-y coffee shops and specialty stores. Consider staying here if you’d like to be close to the charming, Old World architecture of Singapore, away from the ultra modern city center.

A very Good and quick stay

Good hotel. If you want something cheap and cheerful then this is certainly a good choice. I was in singapore for only one day after a long, tiring 3 weeks in south east asia. I opted for a cheap hotel for singapore, as i only had one night and planned on staying out most of the visit. This hotel was perfect for this, Decent size budget room, Decent Value for money at the time of booking for singapore, The location was Excellent. Lots of places to eat nearby and very close to airport and gardens of the bay. Staff was helpful and check in / out was nice and quick.

Very friendly staff and he di provide earlier check-in after i email and explain my situation! Very nice hotel! The staff is also very knowledgeable about the way around here to Orchard district for my next hotel. I fully recommend it for those with tight budget but don't want to stay in hostel due to some situation.

First return to Singapore since Covid19. I've always enjoyed my stay here but because a friend extended her hospitality to stay with her, I booked only one night due to a very early arrival. Room was clean and comfortable as usual and friendly staff.
