Arrived and went to the room. On entering the room I noticed the wall lights didnt work, i checked and there was no bulbs in them so I left the main ceiling lights on. My friend and I were in the room for about 45 minutes and there was a loud bang and we were sat in the dark. Thinking there must of been a power cut we looked in the corridoor but the lights were on. When the lights didn't come back on in the room I went to reception, the lady came and looked at the fuseboard and tried to switch the electric back on. But nothing in the room was working. I asked for another room but was told they were fully booked. I filled out an incident form and had to leave, bonfire night out ruined!! I was told the manager would ring me about a refund but he didn't. I rang the hotel 3 times to be told the manager would be in touch. He wasn't I have emailed Accor hotel who own Ibis but they say we will inform the hotel management and they will be in touch they haven't I am now taking this Hotel to court and believe there was faulty electrics in the room as we never touched or switched anything on electrical except the ceiling lights. The consumer rights Act 2015 covers hotel rooms that are not fit to stay in, electricity in the room would be reasonable to expect I believe. All I asked for was my money back for a service I did not receive.

No hot water

Second stay, hotel looked quite busy, the room itself was modern and clean.. I realised at 8pm there was no hot water at all. The shower was freezing cold, no water coming out of the tap. I tried to contact reception and there was no response, when I found the receptionist she’d locked herself out of her office and was waiting for an emergency key to get back in so she could report it and investigate. Past 10pm we had no update, it was still off in the morning.. was unable to have a wash. There was no apology, no offer of a partial refund.. next time we’ll be booking a premier

L’albergo della catena Accor si trova a 1 km dal centro di Castleford e 20 da Leeds, all’uscita dell’autostrada. Struttura con parcheggio privato in zona tranquilla, reception sempre aperta, buona colazione compresa nel prezzo. Le stanze sono di media grandezza, pulite e con vari confort. Albergo consigliato ma solo se si ha l’auto.

Anche se le camere sono spaziose e il letto matrimoniale è a mio parere abbastanza confortevole, la pulizia delle stanze lascia molto a desiderare, La connessione Wi-Fi è a pagamento, 3 Pound per un giorno o 10 Pound per una settimana, Il problema è che la connessione è di pessima qualità e spesso non funziona. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è svantaggioso, si paga per tutto, la colazione è a parte e per un caffè e una brioche, si prendono 6,75 Pound. Un furto.

camere spaziose e pulite, così come la stanza da bagno. Sono tornata più volte in questo albergo trovando sempre personale attento e disponibile. La colazione è di ottima qualità e propone una buona scelta di cibi. La posizione dell'hotel è lontana dai centri abitati, ma vicina a negozi, fermata dell'autobus e ferrovia;inoltre, c'è un rapido servizio di taxi, reperibile attraverso la reception.
