Mercure Petriolo Siena Terme Spa 4 ดาว

siena è piena di strutture termali ma hotel Mercure è stata la peggiore esperienza in assoluto. Siamo arrivati alle 12,30 camera pronta ma se volevamo andarci e usufruire delle piscine dovevamo pagare 20 euro a persona, o aspettare il check in alle 15 che poteva essere anche alle 14, il bello è che avevamo telefonato e chiesto informazioni sul check in e check out, ci hanno detto che potevamo andare a qualsiasi ora e il check out era alle 11 ma se volevamo restare il giorno della partenza dovevamo pagare 15 euro per usufruire delle piscine .Non ci era stato detto niente del sovrapprezzo per il check in prima dell'orario previsto, in piu, se vuoi accappatoio e ciabatte devi pagare altre 10 euro credo se non di piu. Sinceramente è la prima volta che mi capita una cosa del genere, inoltre a mio avviso, nonostante la bellezza della camera la stessa presentava delle pecche come muffa alle finestre, doccia otturata che schizza ovunque, in piu i lokers per mettere i vestiti non funzionavo in quanto mancavano le pile, solo pochi funzionavano, forse questo hotel avrebbe bisogno di una bella risistemata, perchè ha un ottimo potenziale, ma non c'è attenzione, La colazione buona ma quando siamo arrivati alle 9, 15 gia era carente dei prodotti salati, li abbiamo richiesti ma sono arrivati alle 9,45 e alle 10,00 in teoria chiude la sala colazioni.

Don’t even know where to start with this hotel.. should have known it was going to be a horrible experience when we arrived at the hotel and the room was hot. Was told the AC was off and would eventually kick in. Few days passed and the room never changed temp, complained several times and was ignored, a room change to a working AC room would have been nice. Room went uncleaned for 2 days- when I went to the reception to ask for at least a towel swap or a new one I was told it would be a 10 Euros for a kit and 5 for an extra towel? Didn’t know the cleaning service wad not included with my stay, apparently that’s a new thing. No water refills to the room either. Each additional bottle beside the initial 2 are 1.50 EU. Do not expect a microwave or anyone to go out there way to make your stay comfortable it seems like it’s too much to ask for even though I booked a 5 day stay. Outdate TVs and smelly spa area, honestly you’re better off going somewhere else than booking your stay here, would not recommend. I normally don’t even do reviews but this place took is just a tourist trap.

Nice hotel, spacious conected rooms for family with kids, nice view, very friendly staff and service, very tasty Fiorentina stake, good value for money, spacious parking..easy to conect to the higway, would upgrade the brekfast area…..

Almost a year since we visited this place, but still remember. We will most definitely go back and stay longer. The surroundings are amazing on the top of the mountain. The hotel is surprisingly quiet even if it’s close to the highway. Watching the sun set from the thermionic spa is on of the best memories ever. Rooms are classic even if everything looks new. Lots of fine marble and granite works all over. There is nothing by countryside surrounding the property. Having a car is essential. In the surrounding villages you can find real local food, but everything is slow. The hotel restaurant is a good option with great food from a decent menu. The property is also used by Italians and breakfast is really good and authentic local. Staying for a few days makes wonders to anybody’s skin. The combination of Italian countryside, real spa, great food and classy hotel makes this a perfect hotel in Tuscany.

Reason for choosing this place was only because it was close to the following day’s commitment our son had for his football stage about 30km from here in the hills between Grosseto and Siena. Unfortunately we really do not think to be returning again. No quality for the price paid. This place seems to be coping only by the goodwill, kindness and efficiency of LUNA, the gentle head of the Wellness, I really thank for all her cooperation and understanding. We got lost upon arrival as the gps had no signal and wondered through the hills for at least 20-30 minutes. The Resort is accessible by car from the main road direction Siena just off the exit Pari you find it on your right. Otherwise you just go round in circles. Fortunately we were given superior rooms overlooking the hills and all have double glazing if not it would be like being right on the motorway instead of being literally below it! Reception/Reservations/Front office and catering do not comunicate amongst departments so no communication flow and coordination. We were given our second room for the boys at two different floors, after complaint we had to wait for room change to discover later on going to bed that our youngest was given a smaller “extra” bed instead of a proper single bed with proper complete bedding, not as the rest of the beds...! The Spa is ok, even though loud guests spoilt the relaxing mood. The lifeguard comes and goes, was never there really overlooking. At the restaurant we arrived and asked for our table, they were not even aware of our reservation nor of our name or that we were guests of the hotel. We took at table behind the staff access instead of being by the staircase! Most of the staff on duty had arrived that same day for the first time. Service is poor and menu was not satisfactory, very bad cinghiale in salmi con polenta tartufata (dried meat and dried out polenta brick that felt liked a nail buffer!). Cannot have four star prices for such bad quality. We even had to ask to put the Franciacorta bottle in the freezer to reach a reasonable cold temperature! Spacious rooms and pleasant marble bathrooms, even though minibar is not equipped, no glasses, no pen and paper. Water in shower is really not up to standard, water does not flow down basin and tub unless you completely remove tap. Buffet Breakfast was really average nothing special at all. Cleared rooms and had a last massage at 11.00, then checkout. Auspico la proprietà possa prendere in mano la situazione per far gestire il resort all’altezza di quello che potrebbe essere.
