Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback with us. I am very sorry that our cleaning concept was not clearly communicated and, more importantly, that we did not deliver properly after you had requested the service. While bed linen is not automatically changed with every room cleaning, your room should of course have been properly serviced, including cleaning the surfaces and replacing towels left for exchange. I completely understand why finding the crumbs still on the table made you question what had actually been cleaned. I am equally sorry about the situation with the doorstop. It should not have been removed without being replaced, and once Reception promised to bring you another one, we should have followed through. That is simply something we need to do better. We introduced the cleaning-on-request concept with good intentions, but your feedback shows us that we still have work to do in making both the communication and execution consistent. I have shared your comments with our Reception and Housekeeping teams so we can learn from your experience. I am glad that you otherwise found the hotel pleasant, enjoyed our friendly service and appreciated having the metro just across the road. Dear Wouter, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your breakfast experience was affected by the busy restaurant. During peak breakfast hours, especially in the high season, the breakfast area can become crowded. For guests who prefer a quieter experience, we recommend visiting between 6:30 and 8:30 a.m., while 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. is typically our busiest period. Regarding the stairwell doors, they are designed to remain locked from the inside for fire safety and security reasons. Guests can always use the lifts to access their floor or contact our reception team if they require any assistance. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.
