The SLS South Beach is by far the best hotel to stay in while vacationing in South Beach. The style, rooms, comfort, location, restaurants, gym, beach, pools, patio and staff are the best. I love the outside patio to enjoy a beverage and a snack after the beach. Complimentary coffee in the morning before the gym is the best. If you haven't stayed here I highly recommend it as I have stayed here over twenty time now. CMC

SLS South Beach Perfect for our 1 night Pre Cruise Stay!

My sister and I stayed 1 night at the SLS prior to a cruise. Thank you Ricardo for ensuring our stay was memorable. Check in was easy, our room was ready early (2pm) which was terrific. We did receive an upgrade (to room 815) oceanview as well! BONUS! I can not say enough about the staff. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. Shout out to the guys on the beach as well. They arranged our chairs and umbrella, towels and as they walked by assisting other guests, would ask how we were doing. Room: The bed was so comfy. Great shower pressure, plenty of towels. Cleanliness of the resort was impressive. Pools: They offer 1 quiet and 1 party pool. We didn't use only because we like beach. Dining: We did dine outside the hotel. Location: I had not been to South Beach before. I loved the location as it was a few blocks from the crazy, but a nice easy walk, plenty of dining right outside the hotel.

We just got back from a weeklong cruise in the Caribbean, and before we left Miami to head back to the United Kingdom, my husband and I made arrangements with some of our friends to get day pass to the SLS Miami hotel. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman named Tony who was quite courteous. We were met with a grin and he made every effort to assist us in settling in for the day. Shortly after our arrival we were hailed by the Manager, who went by the name "Francesco,". Under normal circumstances, it is reasonable to anticipate that a Hotel Manager will set an example for his team by providing exceptional customer service and leading by example. Francesco, on the other hand, did not behave in this manner. While we were picking up one of our bags, he spoke to us in an impolite manner and asked us what we were going to do with the bags and where they were going. We informed them that we had a day pass for the SLS and that we were looking forward to swimming at the pool for the entire day. It was at this point that he informed us that we were unable to leave our bags with them and that we were required to find alternative arrangements outside the hotel because "there is no baggage storage because of limited space." When we inquired about what we were supposed to do, he suggested that we either rent a room for the six hours or again leave our luggage in the luggage storage area elsewhere . Which meant that we had no other option other than to pay for a room for the day to store our bags. The fact that he was able to provide us with a discount on the room is something that should not be overlooked because it would be impolite. In general, however, the experience was unpleasant, and it was an experience that was not necessary. I would like to express my gratitude to Tony for going above and above and making an effort to rectify the situation. However, after all this we wasted a significant amount of time, effort, and energy in dealing with this scenario. Which just required a few bags to be stored for a few hours until they were needed. (And we are aware that there was space available in the luggage room)

Please understand the hotel does not guarantee luggage storage for guests who book Resort Passes. We make exceptions to accommodate our patrons. However, since there were 6 guests with you, with a large luggage each, we could not make an exception. Your comfort and convenience are paramount to us, and we regret any inconvenience caused. The staff was great from the get go. Bell service was impeccable and the room was good for the price. The location is vibrant and has many different options to explore walking distance. Overall a great experience.

Great place to stay with your friends and family, there are two pools, great views bedrooms, the valet service is great, just the Japanese food is not good but I’ll give 5 stars for the price and all stuff you can have fun in the hotel
