Panchi was a brilliant host, the service and food in the restaurant was great. The rooms were spacious and beds were super comfortable. Stayed 5 nights for work and the location was so convenient for local shops. Highly recommend this hotel and the attached restaurant.

Excellent value for money (two night stay) Staff very welcoming and Panchi in the restaurant was excellent. Food good and reasonably priced. Found hotel well positioned for us to do some shopping and sight seeing without using the car. Thankfully a promotion so avoided the £8 daily parking.

Average at best, poorly trained staff

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was ok but it’s not a 4* Hotel. Staff i found were not the most welcoming and the room was far too dark and it was cold too. Bathroom had mould on the ceiling. Room was average at best Premier Inn beds are far more comfortable. The issue with the staff was that they just didn’t make you feel very welcome and it felt off putting having too ask them anything. There was no information about anything when checking in. I think some if the staff need retraining in customer service. However the buffet breakfast was very nice if abit expensive at £14.50 each. Would I stop here again ? Only if Premier Inn was fully booked it wouldn’t be my 1st choice.

arriviamo in Hotel dopo un viaggio in moto sotto la pioggia da Dover a Cardiff poco dopo le 21 e non ci viene data la possibilità di cenare al ristorante perchè aveva chiuso qualche minuto prima. Dopo aver fatto il ceck in, durante il quale non veniamo accolti come soci e non ci viene offerto alcun cocktail di benvenuto, e sistemati in bagagli in camera non ci è rimasto altra scelta che prendere qualcosa al bar dell'hotel essendo lo stesso in una zona residenzale periferica e quindi lontano da locali e ristorante. Al bar ci siamo dovuti accontentare di un pacchetto di patatine speziate, una cioccolata calda veramente acquosa e vomitevole e una pinta di birra (almeno questa buona) pagati abbastanza salatamente e serviti dopo una inspiegabile attesa di quasi 15 minuti. Per il resto.... bella la Hall, la sala colazione e la camera ma corridoi, scale e parti comuni mostrano il segno del tempo e una cattiva cura e pulizia. La pulizia della camera e il cambio delle asciugamani dopo 2 gg l'abbiamo dovuta chiedere noi alla reception e solo dopo è stata fatta. Positiva la colazione ricca e abbondante con personale di sala gentilissimo e cordiale al contrario di quello di bar e reception.

Soggiornato in coppia per due notti a ottobre. L'hotel è in parte in ristrutturazione ma questo non ha creato disagi. Ampio parcheggio gratuito, checkin e checkout veloci e camera di design confortevole. Ritornando al titolo della recensione i punti su cui migliorare sono sul fatto che essendo un hotel in zona isolata dovrebbe munirsi di un distributore automatico di bevande. Come in altri hotel di catena inglesi visitati non dispone di minibar e phon in camera. La palestra ha degli attrezzi fuori uso ed è sprovvista di manubri con pesi leggeri. Basterebbe poco per rendere il soggiorno più gradevole. Non credo di ritornarci
