What a find! The hotel hosts an extensive art exhibition, staff members are proud and excited to share a place they love, and the rooms are tastefully designed. We appreciated their sensitivity to the environment and their mission of making art accessible to all. We plan to make our way to their other properties too!

Loved our evening enjoying great food, viewing incredible art, and then climbing a few flights for a comfy sleep.

On a cold weekend in Durham, we got to enjoy a full night of good food, thought-provoking art, and a comfy room, all without leaving the building. The staff was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the food at the restaurant and the art exhibit now showing. It was a very unique stay and we will be back.

Damien Jones was so kind and amazing to look at our accommodations and move us up from the 3rd floor to the 11th floor with the best views!! And Danny, the valet attendant, was exceptionally awesome with providing champagne flutes and an ice bucket to help us celebrated our 1st anniversary. Victoria, at the bar in Counting House, is a spirit savant and knew exactly the best mixes to make our night one of the best. All of the staff were so attentive and mindful to ensure we could have the best experience!

Disappointment

We checked in and arrived in our room to find the main light fixture out as well as a bathroom light. We have been sitting in the dark after a long day of travel. Two polite requests to make the repair have produced no results. Quite a disappointment.

From the time we arrived at the hotel the Valet gentleman were very nice and helpful. Once we arrived to check in Damien was wonderful with his excellent customer service to my husband and I. He and that welcome personalities view from our room was so beautiful. The hotel museum blew our mind. We would like the time to Thank Damien for his awesome hospitality and yes we are already planning on coming back in June 2026. Thank you 21 Museum
