Parking scam!

Parking scam beware. We attended an evening event. Website says free parking yet we got a £100 ticket. Hotel couldnt care less. There was no where saying to register your car at the front desk which btw we didnt use because we went straight into the event room. We definately wont be paying the scam ticket i will go to court first!

We had a absolutely fabulous time at the Elvis tribute party night tonight. Food was brilliant, Elvis was brilliant, DJ was brilliant. Staff and Service were brilliant, especially at the bar and Thank you Jodie for looking after us in the most beautiful pyramid room. We are so lucky to have you in St Helens to go to. Thanks All.

Stayed here whilst visiting St Helens Stadium for an event. Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and the bed and room were very good. Made use of the pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi which were all to a good standard. Was reasonably priced and having stayed in many chain hotels was very pleased and would stay again. Didn’t try the food.

Staff - lovely and efficient. Breakfast - ok. Room: The bed was comfortable. The shower over the bath was very good. The air-con was very good. Room lighting very good. That was important because the none-opening window was almost opaque to any natural light. The room safe was not functional as the battery compartment was broken and poorly taped up. As it wouldn’t lock the door swung open into the walk space at the bottom of the bed and was a trip hazard! Note : reception sent up a colleague to look at it. She managed to jam the safe door closed using a piece of folded paper. However we had no usable room safe. One of the bedside nightstands was very unstable and needed maintenance. It was unusable. Bathroom - worst of all the sink took several minutes to drain and hairs/debris floated up from the plug hole - disgusting! Overall it was clear, from the condition of the room, that easily identifiable maintenance issues are not being addressed. That’s a pity really for such an otherwise nice hotel.

Stayed for one night. Solo female. Previously used the hotel in January and decided to use again this visit. Friendly and efficient check in. Room very clean and comfortable with additional facilities including tea/coffee, fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Used the hotel bar before heading out for a few hours. Greeted by two fantastic staff, Victoria and Liam. Very friendly and a great asset to the team. Returned to the bar after my outing for a few beers before bed. Again, Liam was very helpful and also offered a suggestion to a question I had regarding obtaining local food. He came up trumps with his assistance. Thank you Liam Will definitely be using the hotel again when I visit the area.
