Wonderful Experience at Mövenpick Soma Bay – Friendly Staff and Great Atmosphere

We are currently enjoying our second day at Mövenpick Waterpark Resort & Spa Soma Bay, and everything has been wonderful so far. Although our flight was delayed and we only arrived at the hotel around 3 AM on Sunday, the staff were incredibly welcoming. They made the check-in process fast and easy, and even provided us with dinner boxes, which was a lovely surprise after such a long journey. A special thank you to Abdallah from the reception team, who showed great understanding and support. After explaining that our friend, who traveled alone to visit the Pyramids, had also missed his dinner due to a delayed flight, Abdallah kindly arranged dinner boxes for him as well, ensuring he had something to eat that evening. Our first full day was beautiful, with warm weather and a relaxed atmosphere. The entire team is very friendly, always checking in to make sure we are happy and comfortable. The water is pleasantly warm, and the waterpark is a lot of fun, adding to the resort’s charm. If I had to mention one small detail, it would be the à la carte Chinese restaurant – the food was very tasty, but the portion sizes were a bit small for my personal preference. Overall, though, our experience has been amazing and we’re looking forward to the rest of our stay!

From the outset, the Movenpick Resort Soma Bay has presented itself as a smart choice for a Red Sea getaway. The welcome we received was efficient and genuinely helpful, thanks in no small part to Abdallah at reception. His proactive approach in offering information and exploring options for us was a refreshing touch and immediately set a positive tone. It's these initial interactions that often define a stay, and in this case, it was a strong start. What has also stood out in these first couple of days is the consistent courtesy of the staff. Every interaction has been pleasant, contributing to a relaxed and welcoming environment throughout the resort. This attentiveness doesn't feel forced but rather seems to be a genuine aspect of the service culture here. The culinary aspect has also been noteworthy. The selection of food available is quite impressive, and the quality has exceeded expectations, especially when considering the overall value. It’s enjoyable to have a variety of tasty dishes to choose from without feeling like you're compromising on quality. Beyond the service and food, the resort itself offers appealing amenities. The pools are well-maintained and inviting, and the proximity to a lovely beach is a significant draw. It provides the perfect setting for both relaxation and enjoying the Red Sea. For travelers mindful of their budget, the Movenpick Soma Bay seems to strike a commendable balance between providing a quality experience and remaining accessible. My initial assessment is that this resort offers considerable value for money and is a strong contender for a satisfying Red Sea vacation.

I am currently on my second day of vacation at Mövenpick Waterpark Resort & Spa Soma Bay, and so far the experience has been truly great. Despite a delayed flight on Saturday night and arriving at 3 AM on Sunday, the hotel staff were extremely understanding. They processed our check-in quickly and kindly arranged dinner boxes for us, which was a wonderful gesture. Special thanks go to Abdallah from the reception team — he was extremely helpful and understanding. When I explained that our friend, who traveled alone to visit the Pyramids, also had a delayed flight and missed dinner, Abdallah made sure that he received dinner boxes as well, so he wouldn't go hungry. His kindness and prompt assistance made a real difference and deserves to be recognized. Our first full day here was amazing — sunny and warm, the perfect beach holiday weather. The staff are all very friendly, constantly checking if we are enjoying our stay and offering help whenever needed. The water is warm, and their waterpark is a lot of fun for both adults and children. If I had to mention one small negative point, it would be about the à la carte Chinese restaurant where I personally found the portion sizes a bit small — although, to be fair, I am a Romanian man used to eating more! Nonetheless, the food was tasty and the service excellent. Overall, I am very satisfied and excited for the days to come!

My initial impressions of the Movenpick Resort Soma Bay are quite positive. Abdallah at reception was particularly helpful, providing us with useful information and trying his best to offer good options to suit our situation. The staff I've encountered so far have been consistently polite and attentive, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. I've been impressed with the variety and quality of the food offered. There seems to be a good range of options, and everything I've tried has been tasty. The resort facilities are also quite nice, with lovely pools and a beautiful beach area. For the price point, it seems to offer a good balance of quality and amenities. While it's only my second day, Movenpick Soma Bay appears to be a solid option for those seeking a budget-friendly Red Sea vacation.

Hotel amazing but problem with animation

The hotel it’s very beautiful, the food also was good but I didn’t like the way of the treatment of the “chief animation” and the shows were awful because the chief animation doesn’t speak good English and his vibe wasn’t nice, all team were very kind always except him
