Look, this resort is great! I’ve been there several times and have returned back from a short vacation however I’m totally disappointed with the food. Movenpick is known for its culinary excellence but unfortunately not this one anymore!! Need to have a proper chef and team to turnaround the food experience to what it was before!

Big family beach hotel

Huge beach hotel. Thanks to the well designed lay out, it doesn’t feel overcrowded, unless during meal times. It has direct beach access, a big pool, an integrated kite school, tennis courts etc. if you like a big beach hotel with content entertainment, this is the right place.

My stay at Mövenpick El Gouna was incredible! In order for a hotel guest to have an exemplary experience during their stay, the hotel they are staying in must ace four main points. I will break down these four points, as well as apply them to my stay at this hotel. Staff: In order for a hotel guest to have an exemplary experience during their stay, the hotel must have a perfect staff. The staff must be helpful, cooperative, and very pleasant with all hotel guests. This hotel’s staff were wonderful during our stay, and exceeded expectations during our stay! I thank all staff sincerely for their everlasting hospitality, support, and efforts. Food: In order for a hotel guest to have an exemplary experience during their stay, the hotel must have delicious food during all servings. This hotel exceeded expectations with the food service, by not only having a wide variety and selection of foods, but also offering exquisite tastes across multiple cuisines. Thank you chefs! Atmosphere: In order for a hotel guest to have an exemplary experience during their stay, the hotel must have a nice atmosphere. This hotel has an amazing atmosphere, as the hotel was clean, offered many facilities (including tennis courts, heated pools, yoga areas, mini discos and shows, a ping pong table, and many dining areas), and beautiful scenery and views of the Red Sea. Rooms: In order for a hotel guest to have an exemplary experience during their stay, the hotel must have satisfactory rooms. This hotel had amazing rooms. Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and everything was working normally. Special thanks to the housekeeping staff for keeping the room nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gouna - and will definitely be visiting again in the future.

Hotel is on an amazing location in El gona It has a beach direct access We booked a half board stay Rooms are nice but you need to walk too long distance to reach to the facilities Staff is very very friendly and they also polite however the room cleanliness was not well maintained due too poor level of cleanliness control We checked in our room with dirty toilet and dusty surfaces and had to request them to reclean the whole room Additionally they are only giving amenities like toothbrushes and cotton buds on request Speaking of food it was nice and full of varieties but not movenpick food standard
