Lovely place to visit in good location

I stayed here after a Nile river cruise to relax a couple days before flying to Sharm el Sheikh. Everything was lovely. The rooms and service were great. The only strange thing about the hotel is that it is on an ISLAND, and you need to take a free shuttle boat provided by the hotel to get off the island and do other things... but that made it all the more peaceful. Just take a delay into account if you are headed to the airport etc. Also Aswan is currently building a new road to bypass the single lane road over the low dam that will take you to the airport (the main route to the airport) so you need to factor in time for that if going to the airport. Luckily we didn't run into traffic that day but we left early. I highly recommend leaving for the airport 3 hours before the flight from the hotel if you are doing that.... just in case. there are limited Cairo flights currently due to covid. Visiting Egypt right now is perfect. please consider visiting you won't regret it. If you need to have a Covid test done before heading to the USA most of the government hospitals do it for around $30-50 USD (480-800EGP) DO NOT pay more for it. There are people paying 2000-2500EGP for "private" services and this is not needed. You WILL have to go back to pick up the certificate in person... or you can send your driver with your passport copy and receipt and he can pick it up for you. Also be aware that for USA flights it just needs to be done within 3 calendar days before departure not 72 hours... so FYI if your connection flight to USA starts on Friday you can do test as early as the preceding Tuesday. They will tell you at the hospitals you are too early but you are not...

It was very good and clean.. The staff was very kind. Also the breakfast was delicious and had a lot of varieties. We hope the panoramic tower opens its doors earlier than 6:30 pm because we enjoyed watching the sunset there last year.

What a great hotel on Elephantine island reached by ferry in the centre of Aswan Corniche. Given a corner room facing the town across the Nile. The hotel is spotlessly clean and every effort is given to make you safe.
