Grand home base in Aswan, nice and quiet and relaxing - everything you could want is here including their brand of ice cream at the bar after a day of tours. Ramadan who runs early breakfast brightens your morning and nothing is too much trouble. Housekeeping are all friendly and add nice extras. A quick ferry over the Nile (this is a treat) to the hustle and bustle operates around the clock, the boat crew are always friendly, and the dock on the other side is a convenient and safe location for tour pick ups. Glad we stayed here.

Ramada, the pool security, was warm, friendly and helpful. He made my friends and I feel so comfortable and well taken care of. He was always attentive and smiling.

Room was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. There is plenty of space for hanging clothes etc. Staff were all excellent. Special thanks to the PR. Manager Ms. Tisir breakfast and lobby staff was great and smiley 😊 thx .Abu zeid and Ashraf . Nothing was too much trouble for them to help us. Food was reasonably priced and good choice offered. But some items was not there but they brought when we ask about . Like cheese and 🍯 at breakfast 🥞

Very disappointing experience despite excellent location complete water supply cut in our room, which happened in the morning and again in the afternoon. ⭐☆☆☆☆ | Very disappointing experience despite excellent location I am currently staying at Mövenpick Resort Aswan, a hotel I chose again because of its great location and a previous positive stay. Unfortunately, this time the experience has been extremely disappointing. My wife and I faced a complete water supply cut in our room, which happened in the morning and again in the afternoon. This is absolutely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel, especially when guests are paying full price. I contacted the hotel management several times, but despite repeated complaints, the problem was not resolved. When I requested to be moved to another room—even with a minimal upgrade to ensure basic comfort—the manager refused to help. Since I paid the full amount in advance, I am now stuck in a room where the water supply may be cut again at any time. This situation caused significant inconvenience and stress and falls far below the standards expected from an international hotel brand. While the location is excellent, good service and basic utilities are essential. Sadly, the management’s handling of this issue shows a serious lack of responsibility and guest care. I hope hotel administration and Mövenpick management take this review seriously and improve both maintenance response and managerial attitude toward guests.

This review is for our stay in new building. Pros - Our room had a beautiful Nile and city view. Rooms were decent sized compared to Hilton in Luxor. The beds were comfortable, water temperature and pressure was perfect. Air-con worked fine. The breakfast had many hot & cold options. Laundry was cheap. Cons - Getting in & out of shower is tricky cause of height of the tub. Its expensive compared to Egyptian standards. Dinner buffet was $50USD pp which is very high for what $5 can buy one in Egypt.
