Een tweede keer bij het hotel verbleven. Fijn verblijf met prettige hotelomgeving maar wel wat aanmerkingen op het onderhoud van het hotel en verblijf.

Dear Mr. Frank b., Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback following your recent stay with us. We truly appreciate you choosing to return for a second visit. While we are pleased to know that you enjoyed the overall hotel environment and found our team to be welcoming, we sincerely regret that several aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Please accept our apologies for the shortcomings you experienced, particularly regarding the arrival experience, accommodation condition, and overall maintenance of the resort. We are especially concerned to learn about the maintenance issues in your room, including the condition of the curtains, lighting fixtures, door alignment, and flooring. This is certainly not reflective of the standards we strive to uphold, and your comments have been shared with our Engineering and Housekeeping teams for immediate review and corrective action. We also regret that your arrival experience did not convey the warm welcome expected of a five-star resort. Your feedback regarding the reception atmosphere and lack of welcoming touches has been noted and will be reviewed with our Front Office team to enhance the overall guest experience. Furthermore, we apologize for the shortcomings in our breakfast presentation and food quality, as well as your dining experience at the restaurant. Your comments regarding food quality and proper food handling are taken very seriously and have been shared with our culinary team for immediate improvement. We also regret that your ALL – Accor Live Limitless membership was not properly recognized during your stay. This is certainly not the level of recognition we aim to provide to our valued members, and we will reinforce this with our team to ensure better acknowledgment in the future. While we are glad that certain aspects such as our team service, WiFi, and some facilities met your expectations, we fully acknowledge that your overall experience fell short of what should have been delivered. Het complex ligt aan de noordzijde van Hua Hin, oude gedeelte, gebouwd in 2010 en inmiddels vanaf 2017 in handen van Mövenpick. Qua locatie iets uit het centrum maar deze is goed te bereiken met taxi of tuktuk. Het personeel is meer dan vriendelijk, behulpzaam en betrokken bij zijn en haar gasten. Reinheid en schoonmaak van de kamers is goed. Het ontbijt heeft ruime keuze en sommige gerechten worden ook afgewisseld gedurende de week. Het restaurant waar ook het ontbijt wordt verzorgd is wat ons betreft onder de maat en prijs/kwaliteit is niet goed. Niet alles is voorradig, smaak en kwantiteit is niet op orde. Voor een 5-sterren resort is er qua gebouwen en met name de toestand van de gebouwen heel wat op te merken. In het kort, alles lijkt beschadigd of gebroken. Deuren, hang en sluitwerk, vloertegels, wandtegels, ramen, tv, bed, bank, alles lijkt iets mis mee te zijn, allemaal oud, onderkomen, niet gerepareerd of kapot. De vlonder, richting het restaurant, over het water, liggen planken los of zijn ze rot, het water is donkergroen en ruikt niet fris. Het zwembad idem, tegels gebroken en niet gerepareerd. Helaas rekent men wel een 5-sterren tarief maar de 5 sterren zijn moeilijk te vinden in dit resort, al is nogmaals een compliment voor de medewerkers op zijn plaats, chapeau voor deze zeer klantgerichte mensen.

Wij vonden het een geen 5 sterren waardig hotel, het is allemaal gedateerd. Het mag wel eens een upgrade krijgen. Toont allemaal wat "vermoeid" Het personeel was hartstikke vriendelijk. Eten v. de kaart was goed! Schoonmaak was goed!

Mooie groene oase in kale omgeving. Het park met de huisjes is zeer mooi aangelegd. De huisvesting is prima, Ontbijt is prima. Iets mindere punten zijn: Tijdens ons verblijf konden we niet één keer het strand op, omdat het er niet was. Dit is toch wel uitzonderlijk voor een strand faciliteit. Als je half board bestelt mag je slechts uit 2 gangen kiezen. M.a.w. hoofdgerecht met voorgerecht of met nagerecht. Verder de service was niet altijd stabiel deze schommelde tussen een 6 en 10. Personeel is erg behulpzaam. De trappen v. en naar de receptie waren niet echt geschikt voor oudere gasten.

Erg mooi en comfortabel hotel. Wel veel kamers waarbij je een steile trap op moet die ‘‘s avonds niet verlicht is, dus niet voor iedereen geschikt. Restaurant en alles eromheen uitstekend!
