Unacceptable run down disgrace to the name Movenpick. Many rooms have zero view, paint chipping off, toilet cubby too small for this fat yank to turn around in. First allocated roomsmelled of urine. Traveled with Gate1, probably for the last time. This place is not even worth the sub $100 rate.

Otel gerçekten harika bir konumda bulunuyor. Odalar son derece konforlu, modern ve tüm ihtiyaçları karşılayacak şekilde donanımlı. Temizlik konusunda ise kesinlikle kusursuz. Chiang Mai’de konaklamayı düşünen herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim. Otelden çıkar çıkmaz kendinizi bölgenin en canlı noktasında buluyorsunuz. Gezilecek yerlerin çoğu yürüme mesafesinde, ulaşım açısından büyük avantaj sağlıyor. Otelin önünde keyifli bir bar bulunuyor, hemen altında Starbucks olması da günün her saatinde büyük bir kolaylık. Ayrıca gece pazarlarına çok yakın, bu da Chiang Mai deneyimini daha da güzelleştiriyor. Otelin alakart restoranı oldukça başarılı. Bunun yanı sıra, tam karşısında bulunan İstanbul Türk Restoranı sayesinde memleket özlemini gidermek de mümkün. Konum, konfor ve hizmet kalitesi açısından beklentilerin üzerinde bir otel.

Basic hotel in a great location

The hotel's absolute strength is its good location. The spacious common areas and rooms are also good. The room itself was spacious and functional. The bed was reasonable, as were the blankets and pillows. The air conditioning was overly efficient and blew directly onto the bed. The bathroom designer could be fired. The smallest and most impractical I've ever seen. It's really cramped to get on the seat or put a towel to dry. These are behind the door and you can't move the door in such a small space. The shower was just fine and there was a large mirror in the space. As in almost all hotels, there were too few hooks or hangers to put clothes to dry or straighten out your suitcase. The hotel's pool area was not particularly cozy, but rather abandoned. The gym was small and not at all attractive. The hotel's breakfast, on the other hand, was quite good and there was something for a Westerner to eat. The service was generally just okay. The hotel has a terrace bar next to the street which is quite cozy. Also the night markets, shops and restaurants are just a few steps away. Among the local attractions there are two Thai boxing arenas very close by.

Front Office Staff named Bow was very professional and efficient during checkin. Checkout was superfast too. Concierge Guys were very polite at the door, each time we leave and return. Holiday Spa staff named Sunshine was very friendly and proactive. We took 02 packages on separate days and both sessions were very relaxing and revujenating. The Masseurs were very professional and approachable as well. I have been here twice this year and both times were equally impressed by the services.

Good choice for a city trip

The hotel is big and centrally located. Walking distance for many locations. There is parking space on the third floor of a garage which can be accessed from the road to the side of the hotel (Loi Kroh Road). It can be a bit awkward to find. From the parking there is access to the hotel. Our room smelled a bit musty but was sufficiently large with a nice bathroom. There is a fridge, a safe, a desk and a sofa. It is also quiet and sleeping quality is good. The pool is quite small with enough seating around it and a pool bar. Unfortunately the inevitable music you don’t want to hear. I want quiet or something of my own choice through ear buds. Same in the gym, but they turn it off on request. The breakfast is an extensive buffet with a lot of choice. Wi-Fi works well most of the time, is not superfast though.
