We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The staff truly made the difference! A special thank you to Laura from the restaurant, who took our son’s nut allergies very seriously and ensured everything was safe for him. She is 100% lguest service minded. Also, the blonde lady dressed in black was incredibly attentive and kind, and Caroline from reception was welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay. Their professionalism and care made us feel comfortable and valued. The location is fantastic is just a 20 minute walk to the Christmas markets and super close to beautiful park for relaxing walks.l Highly recommend this hotel!

problem with payment

Credit card was charged twice. The hotel management was unable to solve this issue within four weeks. The room itself was okay. The breakfast buffet could have covered more options for a four star hotel.

A nice hotel close to the city centre

This hotel has a very nice location. It is in a very quiet part of Münster and through a nice walk that is partially along the lakeside, you get into the heart of the city centre in about 25 minutes. The room was nice and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the mattress could even be somewhat adjusted! There was a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary coffee cups. That was much appreciated. Just as the in-room safe, but keep in mind it is quite small. My 16" laptop certainly did not fit. The bathroom was not very large, but the shower area provided enough space. It was quite elongated and the rack for a towel inside this area was very convenient. The parking situation is somewhat odd. There are a few free parking spots at the hotel entrance, and you can use the street side parking, but there is also a parking garage. It is a bit on the dark side and the spaces are somewhat tight, but it is convenient. It is actually a public parking garage. Hotel guests pay 17 Euro/day. There were two things that I think can be improved. The 32 Euro charge for the breakfast is way too high if you just want a simple continental type of breakfast. It would be nice if the hotel could offer such an option. Luckily, there are bakeries nearby and we went to one of them. Got a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. Another thing I would like to bring up is that I had to pay the city tax upon checkout, but I had paid my reservation in advance. This is not about the money, but it would be more customer friendly to include this tax in the room charge. Or at least inform guests of this when they check in.

Basic but OK hotel

First the positives: This is a nice hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast is good. But a little expensive. Served in an adjacent pavilion (we were informed that the restaurant was under renovation!). Nice and big rooms. There are 3 chargers for electric cars, The negatives. We had three rooms, of which they had apparently forgotten to wipe the dust off in two of the rooms! Charging for electric cars is in the underground garage at €17/day. And only one out of 3 chargers could be started to charge our cars. The staff knew nothing about it the charging facilities. Which they regretted. When paying for the stay in the garage, you have to pay in a machine that only takes cash. Which we didn't have enough of. After inquiring at the reception, we were told that we could pay there. Maybe it is an idea to put a sign on the machine about that option? In terms of price, the hotel is on the slightly expensive end considering that it is a rather basic hotel. We used the hotel to stay in transit and will choose another one next time.
